This is my second QX 56. I owned a 2004 prior to my 2009. I rate this truck very high but with the exception I had minor issues with my 2004 with the brakes in which there was a recall, seatbelt tensioners and the piece that keeps the rear hatch closed came loose. But 2004 was the first year and there will always be issues with the first year of vehicles. All issues were resolved by the dealer. Over all it is an awesome vehicle. Plenty of room, a lot of options for the price and it was different. I was the first person with one where i lived and after looking at mine they popped up all over the place. My 2009 is even better than the 2004 I had. The interior is 200% better and the ride has improved dramatically. I have and will recommend to anyone. And finally, the Infiniti dealership I deal with in Honolulu has the best service I have ever had with any dealership.

I purchased the QX 4WD in Aug 08 - now have 14K miles. Great vehicle. Initially compared to Sequoia and Lexus 570, Sequoia seats didn't fold flat, 570 didn't have enough room. This was the perfect size with great power and fantastic comfort. In Houston, the A/C is a little under-powered for the heat, (takes too long to cool down from 95+ outside) but no other complaints. Mileage is about 11.5 City, and 17 Hwy. A/C and Gas mileage explain the 4-star Performance rating. GPS and Bluetooth are excellent, as well as DVD that kids use with Wii on the road. Has been great on hunting/fishing trips, lake trips, and to/from baseball practices/games with lots of equipment. Also own Sequoia, and kids always want to go in the QX. Excellent vehicle.

I've had my 2008 QX56 for a year and a half now and totally love it! I travel quite a lot and the comfort is fantastic. I constantly receive comments by others about how nice the vehicle is, and everyone who's ridden in it just loves it and wants one for themselves. The thing drives much smaller than it is, and many who've driven mine have commented as such. No shortage of power when needed, and handles great in any weather I've driven in. Yes, gas mileage can be rough, but expected in this size of auto. I get about 14.5 in city and 18 on highway. I couldn't be happier (unless it got better mileage)! Definitely recommend this vehicle.
