Wow! I drove the Mustang GT, the Mustang GT Premium, the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro, and the Dodge Challenger. As a guy that has had nearly 50 cars over the past 30 years, I know what I want in a daily ride. I have owned everything from a BMW 740 all the way down to Dodge GLH turbo. 66 Mustang 289, 68 Mustang 302, 73 Mach 1 351, Dodge Dart 340, 66 GTO 389, 72 Lemans 350, Chevelle LS6 454, 72 Nova 454, 74 Nova 350, 74 Camaro LT1 (later with 454 and tubbed), 88 Camaro IROC-Z, 97 Mustang GT, 99 Saleen, and a slew of RX7s and tuner cars. I was an ASE Certified technician for 15 years; I drove thousands of cars during that time. Some very good and some very bad. I like the style of the Mustang and the Challenger the best. As they remind me more of the originals we have all come to love. I think GM went a little to aggressive in the style of the Camaro. After driving more than two dozen different cars, I found the Mustang to be the most consistent from one car to the other. The Mustang felt the best overall. The body roll was the least when pressed hard. Very stable and fast. It was the quickest of the cars I drove. It was surprising considering it is 315 bhp compared to the other two being in the 400 bhp range. This is THE CAR for performance enthusiast looking for a daily driver for their family of four. I will never buy another foreign car as long as they keep building cars like these. Great car Ford, I hope the 5.0 does not prove to be a mistake for you. I am happy that I have my 2010 4.6 from the last few days of production.
