Pros: "Reliable, Good Value, Low Maintenance."

Cons: "Engine/Power, Gas Mileage, Handling"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 6

"Bought this a couple years back. It was clean with 75k miles when I got it and hit the 100k mark a couple weeks ago. It's very reliable and the only repairs we had to get done where the struts (which had never been replaced) and filters. That being said, if you expect a lot out of a car, this one isn't for you. I don't like the low amount of power it has and I have a bit of trouble getting it up to speed to get on the highway. I really wish it had a better engine, that would make it an all around good car."

Pros: "Reliability"

Cons: "struts ac"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 8

"I bought my silver 2003 Outlander 9 years ago. I am a single mom of 2 kids so my vehicle maintenance hasn't been the most perfect but this vehicle has been so reliable. My struts have gone bad now and working to get those replaced so she squeaks while I drive. The only trouble I have ever had with this vehicle is with the tires. My front passenger side tire gets more wear on it that the other 3 in a faster time frame. I did have to have my AC fixed once, The knob to turn from heat to cool got jammed up and a family member tried to force it to turn from heat to cool and broke it and got stuck on heat."

One of the best vehicles I have ever owned.

Pros: "Dependable"

Cons: "exterior paint and gas mileage"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 8

"I have enjoyed my Outlander. It has been dependable and I have had little issues with it. It accelerates well and drives pretty smoothly. I like the interior and the features. My only issue would be the paint. The exterior has deteriorated quickly. Otherwise, a good car thus far. The gas mileage isn't horrible. I consistently get 270 miles per tank. A full tank is about 12 gallons. Not terrible for the size of the car. This is in stop and go traffic. I hope to get 200K miles out of it!"

Pros: "runs great, in and out still look nice"

Cons: "Wish had V6, higher towing capacity, but notneeded"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"Purchased this vehicle new. We used as a starter family suv and during the first few years it traveled over 100 miles in a regular basis to visit family in NY. Interior is large enough for two small children a large dog and our luggage. This also traveled to FL with no problem. We live in northwestern PA and the heavy snowfalls were nothing to worry about especially with snow tires. The all wheel drive was handy and not overly aggressive but did its job when needed. MPG has been steady around 24 and occasionally during the summer highways driving as high as 27 but in winter usually is 19-20. Really is a great car and plan on keeping for awhile. Only issue I had was the ECM went around 65,000 miles but was covered under warranty normal brakes only had to replace rotors around 60,000 and original tires around 45,000."
