2015 Mitsubishi Mirage

All-new last year, the 2015 Mirage gets only minor changes. Aesthetics are improved with the addition of a short antenna mounted on the rear of the vehicle, and ES models get turn signals in the side mirrors. Inside, there's now added chrome trim, and ES models get better seat fabric.

About Mitsubishi Mirage

The 2015 Mitsubishi Mirage is noteworthy not just because of its tiny size, or its low price, or its excellent fuel economy. No, the Thailand-assembled Mirage is a genuine third-world car that wasn't originally considered for the U.S. market. However, stricter fuel economy standards have brought the little 4-door, 5-passenger hatchback to our shores. The Mirage's low price and good fuel economy fulfill its promises of being inexpensive to own and operate, and it's surprisingly well equipped, with standard features like automatic climate control. But make no mistake, making it in America is harder than ever, and even at this price point there are cars offering a more refinement. The Chevy Spark, for example, is no Cadillac, but it's still a marked improvement over the little Mitsu.

Pros: "Excellent Value, Great Mileage, Warranty"

Cons: "Slow, Not Very Comfy Seats"

"Not sure why "reviewers" have give this cool car so much bad rap. Yes, it is slow and it won't win any races. But that's not what the car was intended for. Maintenance and insurance are both very affordable. Also, very often I get 50+ MPG average during my 60 miles daily commute. Great mileage without any of the expensive hybrid components."

Pros: "easy to drive, great gas"

"I bought this car this summer because I was graduated from college a year ago and had gotten a decent job in my field. I had owned a '05 chevy malibu and enjoyed it throughout college but i needed something with better mileage. I thoroughly researched car before deciding on a Mirage. I was stuck between a Mirage or Civic. After driving the mirage, my immediately wanted it. The dealer gave a good offer on the car and added a few perks (free oil changes for 2years) on top of Mitsubishi standard warranty. I drive about 60 miles for my job and i get around 35-38 miles. I fill up just as much as i did with my chevy but instead of $25+ at the pump I'm paying around $15, now even less with gas prices. The interior is nice and comfy. I love the blu-tooth and hands free system! It handles well in MN winter so far. I have nothing but praise for this car."

Pros: "great price, fun to drive, great gas mileage"

Cons: "small trunk, airbag light issues"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"Bought this car about 10 months ago pretty fresh out of college, it only had about 3k miles at the time. I drive quite a lot so I wanted something with good mileage. My hour commute to work I usually can expect between 42 - 50 mpg, which is excellent. I love how spacious it is inside for such a small car, and it's really fun to drive. Definitely not a muscle car though. When you have 5 people in the car, you can feel it slightly weighed down, and there's not a ton of extra trunk room, but you should be able to realize that just by looking at the car. The only problem I've had so far is the airbag light coming on, which has since been resolved. Great car for a great price!"
