Pros: "Fast, Reliable, Practical, AC,"

Cons: "Hard to find"

"To start off, I bought this car for it's performance and aftermarket support. I know that it takes mods well and horsepower comes easy, but at the same time I got everything I wanted in a car. Stock, it's a pretty quick car, it can take a lot more expensive cars, and if not in a straight line it will take it around a corner. Also, the AWD system is useful for trips say, to the mountains or to get you through any weather! There is actually space in the back for people to sit, AND a trunk! The placement of everything just feels simple and right, the only gripe i have about the interior is if i have a tall cup, sometimes the straw will scrape my arm while i'm shifting (so just bend the straw back into the cup and you're good to go) The common complaint about this car is that the ride is too rough, and that can push people away from the car. Honestly, it is not that bad and I urge you to test drive one, it just feels so connected to the road, but I can understand there are people out there that want to feel like they're on a magic carpet, and that's fine. These engines take abuse, and last with it. So I can't imagine how long one would last if it were unmodified. I work at a very good shop and most of the staff owns an evo. Driving different cars every day, this is just the most comfortable car i've been in. At low rpms, it drives around like a normal economy car, but once you get to 3k and put your foot down it takes off. Before buying one of these cars, do some research since the prices on this site usually cater to new car buyers, and not rare cars like this. If you get an evo at KBB price, in the evo world you're getting a DEAL!"

Pros: "good gas mileage, cheap, agile, sporty"

Cons: "not much back seat room"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 8

"I have owned this car for the better part of a year and thus far have absolutely no complaints. Its very economical with gas and the repairs if needed are reasonably priced. The es model is lacking in power with the 2.0 L engine but this in part is why the car does so well with gas mileage. The es also looks rather bland in comparison to the counterpart models which look much sportier but this gets into personal preference of how much one would want to stand out. The aftermarket accessories are plentiful as well if desired. The greatest selling point of these vehicles is that they are undervalued for their quality unlike the Honda or Toyota vehicles which sell at a premium in the used market. If you are looking for a reliable car for not too much money, mitsubishi is a great option."

Pros: "32 mpg highway! at worst 25 city"

Cons: "no cruse, no abs, no cupholders, small trunk"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"got the car in a trade, it has 115k on the clock and a salvage title. i expected it to be a basket case but had a baby on the way so 4 doors was a necessity. ive had it for 8 months now and taken several 8 hour trips in it without a hitch! ive put over 10k problem free miles on it. its a cheaply built car over all, interrior plastics quality is unimpressive, mine does not have cruse control or abs. its a cheaply made cheap car that has had a very hard life but keeps on kicking!"
