"I have owned this car for 10yrs, and am the only owner. I have given it regular maintenance and it has 294000 miles in it. When I bought it, if the sales people told me it would go over 200k miles, I would have paid more for it. The LS with leather trim is a great car, comfortable and has mainly had highway miles of course as I used to travel a lot across the US. My mechanic states it should run to 400k miles if I continue the up keep. Have had to replace radiator , and a few things, but it is a great car , only blemish is the AC needs re-charged every few years."

"I have owned my car for 4+ years, bought it used. It drives and handles like most other mid-size cars. On long trips I have got more than 29 mpg and is relatively comfortable in how it feels, drives and handles. My biggest complaint is that the AC needs charging every couple of years, but other than that is a very low maintenance vehicle! I would recommend this model year for an all around basic family car."

"This car has had valve cover leaks witch are very expensive to fix [ $600 ] and this caused the starter to go out. 2 other oil leaks which were $1400.00 to fix. The duct system leaked water all over the floorboard. It has been one thing after another."

"I've owned this car for about 8 years now and bought it with 55k miles. It now has 145k miles. Never needed any major work on the car. Only a 200 dollar cable. Runs good for a 4 cylinder and if your looking for a reliable car this is it and its the cheapest. Best car purchase I've ever made."

Cons: "Minor fixes needed on ancillary systems."

"I bought this car new once I started a family. Once we had a second kid we bought an SUV to haul them around and this became my daily commuter car. Its always had good pick-up-and-go despite running on regular gas instead of the premium recommended by the manufacturer. Plenty of amenities, cabin room, and trunk space. The ergonomics and the fit-and-finish of the interior is very good. Some small things have broken down: dash-lights are fading, and the cable for the trunk-release snapped. However, the guts of the engine is still strong. I'd have no hesitation to take this on a multi-state vacation."
