Easy to explore the back country!

"Very reliable vehicle that hasn't let me down or stranded. Drive is very smooth. AWD makes dead stop uphill driving a dream - no hand brakes needed! Lot's of cargo space for camping trips. Handles rough roads and off road terrains very nicely. Maintenance costs have been reasonable and performance does not degrade when premium gas is not used."

"4 wheel independant suspension. On the downside, it's not fuel efficient or as peppy as my Kia sorento. the black paint was defective but 4 years later Mitsubishi paid for a complete new paint job. Transmission went out at 210,000 and had to be rebuilt. My wife will miss it. Handles great in bad weather conditions, excellent cornering and spacious interior. Minimal blind spots with large windows. Cabin is fairly quiet on open road. Mitsubishi blew it when they failed to upgrade and finally stopped making these gems."

Pros: "Extremely reliable"

Cons: "Power windows break easily"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 8

"I bought a new endeavor in 2004, the first year the model was available. At the time, they were a great value. Their prices have gone up since then so they are not as great a value anymore. I have never had a single problem with the powertrain. I'm approaching 150K miles and have never had a single problem. Very reliable. The only issue I had was with the power windows. They've broken 3 times. A little plastic piece inside is very cheap. And the factory tires didn't last 40K miles. But other than that, a very reliable car."

Pros: "Decent price, GREAT sound system, family car"

Cons: "Gas mileage, AWD"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 9

"When my husband and I went car shopping I was looking for a jeep grand cherokee and found this instead. At first I was kinda dissapointed that it is AWD but, after driving it through this whole winter and NOT having any problems at all staying on the road I love it. I have 2 kids and their carseats have enough room plus when I have our 3'rd child I will be able to fit that as well. The sound systemis awesome!! It may not be important to some people but there are 4 cup holders up front 2 in the center console and then 1 on each door, plus if you have older kids/adults in the back seat then there are also 2 more back there as well. The trunk is large enough to hold our double stroller with out any problems, plus I can add groceries in as well (not as many as an empty trunk but still). The front seats will lay right down if you need them to I love that feature. The back seats will lay down flat as long as you take out the headrest, if you need to carry something big inside your car. The one big thing that I do not like about the car is the gas mileage though. To get to work I need to take the interstate a lot and doing so I will go through a tank of gas in 3 days round trip which is about 250 miles, compared to the 300+ taking back roads that I get."
