"I purchased this car as a replacement for my Dodge Durango, and I LOVE IT. Handles great in snow, min maintenance and reliable. Gas mileage is not the best, but for how reliable it is, cannot complain"

Pros: "more roomy than a jeep or 4 runner"

Cons: "hvac drains poor, tires toe, mitsu coils"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 8

"This has been a great SUV for me. Clean look, decent mpg. Pros: decent tire cost, used synthetic oil from about 100k up, larger seating and cargo than the jeeps, rides better than 4 runner. Cons: maybe mitsu issues? hvac drain tube size of coat hanger and clogs, horrible in mitsu in general? i heard. Hvac tube flooded my car twice with a/c and defrost in winter, bad design way water runs down frame, no recall, you can pull the step by step way to fix it on the mitsu site. If your coils blow out, ONLY REPLACE W TRUE MITSU COILS, do not use aftermarket. They blew out my catalytic converters too. Used acetone in the tank the last 30k miles and still got top mileage without cats. Only use 2 oz acetone in 2009 or older cars. Check rexresearch Some brands of tires toe in or out on the front, keep an eye on it to get a tire refund."

Pros: "Reliable cheap to keep"

Cons: "remove intake phelem to access rear plugs ugh!"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 9

"Put about 100 k on the 08 endevour. Brakes, rotors, broken sway bar ends.and some broken wiring in drivers door was all that had to be fixed. I just changed the oil about 3k miles, transmission flush complete fluid change at 80k. Shifting was getting odd, but the fluid change solved that. The 08 was not recalled for defective propeller shaft but it did occur on mine. It was a recall item on previous year endeavors. Had to really fight with the dealer to get that covered under warranty. They just pretended not to hear the whine of the shaft bearing. The endevour has been a cheap car to maintain and drive for the 5 years i have owned it. I would buy another. Many i see with high miles and still going strong."

Pros: "Good size and reliable"

Cons: "Gas mileage rear wiper hard to change"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 9

"Bought new has great room inside XLS package is great. Goes anywhere in the snow and visibility is great. Good power roomy can haul most anything needed. Only two row seating and road noise was problem until put new set of tires on. Gas mileage at 18 mpg not great but size and power are good. Road clearance is good, but still easy access in and out. Interior trim little on the cheap side but functional. Never had a mechanical issue outside of regular maintenance items."
