2002 Mercury Villager

We bought it new and 110K miles later...

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 110,000

Pros: "Low operating costs, easy to drive."

Cons: "Unit came with a cassette player..."

"It still drives that way. For short trips or long ones, she just drives well. No frills. gas mileage isn't bad, plenty of room for 7 and still hold a bunch load of cargo. Sad to see they don't sell her anymore. The Nissan Quest is the next best thing and after 10 years this Villager has plenty of life in her but the 7 passenger space in no longer needed. The only thing I had to do was change oil and light bulbs and tires. Heater fan went out too at about 90K. Other than that she runs good. Hauled the boat for several years and never complained. A nice mini van if you need the room."

Amazing Van!

Pros: "Reliable,Drives well,and great stock stero"

Cons: "Cup holders don't hold well,"

"This van is my First car, it drives fine, almost no blind spots! Accelerates fine, Only problem is the radio screen is out, along with the top back light, Baught it for 2,500$ And only put in 400$ to get it up back to speed and shape! Mines, a V4 Not sure if thats standard or not tho..."

I LOVE this vehicle!!

Pros: "dependable, very comfortable to drive"

Cons: "very back seat is a little uncomfortable"

Sad that they stopped producing this vehicle!

Pros: "great family van from a car company to be PROUD of"

Cons: "didnt offer automatic sliding doors yet!"

"I have owned three villagers and all have been great to me! This latest one I have had for over ten years and more than 200K miles ... I'll be sad to see her go."

"I've had this car for 5 years. it is very dependable, sturdy, rides great. I've had no problems whatsoever with this car. Performance, reliability, comfort, it has it all. I just wish they still made them. I would buy a new one."

"We bought this car brand new in 2001 and have been nothing but impressed. We have never had any major mechanical issues. The car has given us many years of reliable transportation. I would recomend to anyone looking for good run around town car."
