"The 2008 Sable is incredibly spacious for a sedan. It easily beats many SUVs on comfort. While the materials quality on the interior is a bit plastic, I really don't care because the price is so low and I have so much room.
The transmission is the only thing I don't like about the car. If you get on it, there is hesitation and a bit of shifting around. But this doesn't really cause problems in day to day driving.
Overall, this has been a very reliable, spacious and cheap car to own. Not getting rid of it until I have to."
"Pushing 100K miles now after 6 years with this vehicle. It has been a great car requiring a minimum amount of maintenance. Better build quality than the Chrysler 300, much less $ than the Avalon. Huge back seat and trunk. Best move I made was replacing the original Dunlop tires with a set of Hankook Optimas four years ago. This improved the handling (especially on wet/snowly roads) and reduced road noise tremendously. The seating position is elevated and the greenhouse area is huge giving great visbility, I have driven the 2014 Ford Taurus and it feels so confining inside, even though its the same basic car underneath it was a big disappointment."
Pros: "Showy, fun to drive, roomy, great audio system"
Cons: "Would like a larger cup holder area"

"My Sable Voga is roomy, my 6'3" boys can easily ride in the back seat. The ride is good and the motor is very responsive. The car is 5 yrs old & I still get compliments on how pretty it is - white suede with white leather interior. I drive it only small distances and it just turned over 55K. It's garaged and oil changed every 3K. Love the visibility, the way it sits up higher, almost like a mini-van. I may never trade or sell it - I love it that much."
