Cons: "Awkward size, not the best fuel efficiency."

"Bought my 2005 Mercury Sable LS at 101,000 miles. Had it for 5 years, driving about 9,000 miles a year.
It was very reliable. Needed a new battery shortly after I purchased it, but never had any engine issues. Had an infrequent check engine light problem due to the fuel pressure sensor, but that was a relatively easy fix.
Very spacious inside. Quiet, smooth ride. Great for long trips. OK gas mileage. Has nice power (V6). Handles OK. A little obtrusive body, sometimes difficult to park. Paint wore out in the sun in the back above the bumper.
Overall a nice car. Not luxurious, but not a tin can either. Would recommend to anyone looking for a family car or for someone who likes to go on extended trips."
"This has been one of the most reliable and economical cars I have ever owned. I put the pencil to what I paid used for this car vs miles driven. It came out to about 1.75 cents a mile. This did not include normal maintenance and repairs, however I do not think I had more repairs than the average car, in fact I would bet I had less. It currently has 334,000 miles and is still going strong. Sadly, I am considering upgrading because nothing lasts forever, but I will be sorry to see it go. LOVE THIS CAR!!"
"This car is used on a daily basis and performs exceedingly well. It has all the bells and whistles that were available at the time of the purchase in 2004. Very comfortable for those long 8 hour day long distance trips with plenty of room for people and baggage. It also has additional luggage space on top with a luggage rack."
