Pros: "costed $2500 to buy and ran for 4 mo. w/o repair"

Cons: "spent over $2600 in repairs need 2k more at least"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 1

"car is worth more in parts than as a running machine at 98,000 miles... ive never owned a car that needed transmission before 100k miles... to pass emisions test [ie. no service engine soon lights or codes] the dealership had to take the car immediately to emisions for me, and the check engine light came on 4 days [and over $1600] later... this is probably the last ford manufactured vehicle i will ever own"

Pros: "Everything"

Cons: "Gas mileage has decreased with age"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"My parents bought this car from my dad's company, was a fleet car, at about 40,000 miles. My mom drove it for a few years and then I got it when I turned 16 with about 100,000 miles in 2006. Now it has a little over 230,000 (in 2014) and is still running great. This car has been super reliable, only needing minor repairs throughout the years. Never once had a problem with it starting. I always joke that this car is a tank, coming out with only minor scratches after all I put it through is a miracle! I just got a new car...2006 Ford Taurus...because I wanted something new but very similiar. I will never get anything else...especially after I have seen what my friends and family have had to go through with other vehicles."

Pros: "shift down for not sliding in snow/ice..low gear"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 1

"I purchased this car from a used car dealer in ohio in 2009. Its been nothing but a lemon from the 2nd year I had it. I have put over $5000 in it for sway bar...sway bar links, struts, outer tie rod...fuel pump twice, sensor app, idler pulley arm, radiator overflow, starter twice, battery...brakes twice in under 35000 miles. hub assembly..front end alignment abt once a year, all this in under 4 1/2 years. The car had 77, 000 when I brought it. I thought good deal for a used car with low miles. Little did I know. And, then, I thought, if I could keep it for antique....not likely. Came off assembly line a lemon if you ask me. No offense to lemons. Lol."

Pros: "Easy & comfortable to drive, dependable with power"

Cons: "No rear cup holders, only one console cup holder."

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"I have never been a fan of Ford or Mercury vehicles, so was very surprised and pleased to find that this car has been so dependable and comfortable to drive. I have had it for a little over a year with no mechanical problems. It has a very smooth ride no matter if I am on a major highway or a gravel road. The motor runs very strong and has required only minimal maintenance. I have driven it daily, as well as for several long trips around the State. As a single woman, it is nice to know that I can depend on my vehicle not to break down when I am traveling. I would recommend this car to anyone. Plenty of interior room. Comfortably fits a baby seat and two toddler (booster) seats in the rear seat at the same time."
