I own this car - My approximate mileage is 164,000

Pros: "Cupholder/Arm Rest/ Seat"

Cons: "Tranny"

"Everything on the car is great. i really like the center console/arm rest/ cupholders. bought mine for 100 bucks and havnt looked back since quiet and simple. doesnt get the best city gas economy"

Lot of repairs for such low milage

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 103,645

Pros: "great value, large interior, seats 6 people"

Cons: "no complaints"

"When I purchased this car it had 96,000 miles on it. I have had it approx. 2 1/2 years. Since then I have had to have all 4 sensors replaced, the rack and pinion steering repaired, the catalitic converter replaced, the rearview mirror glued back on, the wiring repaired etc. All this before the odometer reached 100,000 miles. I love the interior of this car and it always starts right up but I didn't expect for so much to go wrong with it at such low milage. I am a big lady and this car fits me fine, much better than the bucket seats in my other cars."

I love this car!

"I wish that Mercury was still making this model, I would buy another one. Even my children, grown, have loved this car from the day we brought it home and we bought it used in 2000."

great transportation, frame rotted

Pros: "best car ever owned.lots of power ,great in snow"

Cons: "rotten frame,rebuilt trans twice"

"bought car used, great value.i've had this car for 9 years. rebuilt trans twice, best car ever in snow. recently discovered frame is rotted, motor is ready to fall out.had car maintained faithfully, very sorry to see it go but at the point of safety issues."

best car i have ever had

"i love this car i have had it since 1999. only time i have ever had to havemajor work on it was 2 years ago and the rackn pinion thing blew. and had to put on a new pully system thats it in 13 years besides basic maintenance. i drive it to work in orange county and la its very reliable if your on a budget and have kids this is the car for you. it gets great gas mileage to. to keep it that way change the filter under the car in the back when it starts slepping on gas mileage. will run like new :)"

worst vehicle ever

"I bought this car when it had about 15,000 miles on it. I have had nothing but trouble. The car has had two rebuilt transmissions, one new transmission, one used engine and one new engine. And a myriad of very expensive repairs. It has been nothing but trouble since day one. I would NEVER EVER recommend this car to anyone."
