"I've never driven a smoother SUV in my life. My first car after getting my license, it rides as smoothly as a sedan. Also very durable; my car has been through two moderate fender benders and it holds up like a tank. Very little, if any, damage. Beware the gas mileage though. It's never gone over 15 mpg and it's a 23 gallon tank. Very expensive to keep on the road; also it can get cramped with 4+ people in the car. Totally recommended!"

"I purchased a mercury mountaineer which im very small and petite and its pretty big compared to me. At first I was scared to test drive it because of the overwhelming size of it. On my test drive, I fell in love with it. Not only is it a gorgeous vehicle but I have never been more comfortable driving something in my life. Im 100 lbs and 5'3 and get the funniest looks when people see this little person stepping out of this huge vehicle but for me, my mountaineer handles so much better than any small car I have ever driven. It turns so tight around corners, its comfortable to drive, it stands out from the rest of the vehicles out there but in a way that it just looks classy, very expensive, and its comfortable above all else. I love my mountaineer and its a shame that Mercury is no longer around because this is the best vehicle, most comfortable, sharpest looking and the price is reasonable, and for me as little as I am, it drives wonderful. Im more comfortable driving my mountaineer as big as it is than driving any 4 door car. I have family, friends, strangers, and so on constantly complimenting me on what a beautiful vehicle my mountaineer is and many compare it to the Cadillac suv butthinking my mountaineer is a lot more beautiful, classier, and sharper. My mountaineer has a difference about it and there are certain aspects to the vehicle such as the inside door handles that nobody has ever seen before but once I help them figure out where the door handle is they rave about the uniqueness of it and how something so little makes my mountaineer in class of its own. Mercury needs to make a come back because after my mountaineer I would be a Mercury fan for life and all my friends, family, strangers, etc that have actually seen mine are all very intrigued and many of them would like to purchase a vehicle like mine now. I have never been more satisfied, happy, impressed, and just overall blown away by such a vehicle and the price is very fair for what you get."

"THIS CAR GIVES YOU AN AWESOME RIDE...IT IS BEAUTIFUL AND YOU FEEL LIKE ROYALTY DRIVING. EXCEPT, YOU NEED TO BE JZ AND BEYONCE TO AFFORD TO FILL THIS TANK UP EVERY OTHER DAY IN THE CITY. THIS CAR ABSOLUTELY STINKS ON GAS! I AM PAYING ALMOST $180.00 A WEEK IN GAS... ALL THAT GLITTERS IS NOT GOLD IT IS CASH OUT OF YOUR POCKET!!!!"

"I LOVE THIS SUV. IT'S THE MOST COMFORTABLE ONE I'VE EVER OWNED,7,000LB. TOW CAPACITY IS REAL NICE. DUEL ZONE AC AND HEAT IS GREAT. HEATED WINDSHEILD IS REALLY NICE. 24 MPG ON HIGHWAY IF I DON'T HORSE IT. 18 AROUNG TOWN. THE ONLY PROBLEM WAS WITH THE PASSENGER SIDE HEATED SEAT SEVERAL YEARS AGO. WAS REPAIRED UNDER WARRENTY."

"We also own a 2010 Mercury Grand Marquis. I was really dissapointed when Ford decided to eliminate the Mercury line and as such I bought two new 2010 Mercury vehicles, the last year for Mercury vehicles. My next vehicle will probably be a GM Buick and probably a GMC SUV. The new 2011/2012 Explorers have been downsized from the 2010 Mercury Mountaineer/Ford Explorer size and they do not appeal to me."
