Pros: "solid, secure, safe, comforte, V-8, great mileage"

Cons: "winter, a few electrical glitches.Carpet pulls out"

"Rear wheel, drive. Owned a 1984 and 2009. Quiet, safe, secure, solid, handles well. Great mileage on cruise 27 range with four adults. Lots of room, trunk space, leather, comfortable. Totaled 1984 on I-90 in upstate NY, spun out into steel bridge from Black ice, we all walked away. Dated, but then it would be. will buy a 2012 next year probably. Snow and ice can be a challenge, getting trooper grade Michelin snows next winter. Incredible value for the money."

Pros: "A solid and dependable car."

Cons: "There are only two cup holders."

"I was always a GM guy. My father owned Chevies and Oldsmobiles and did his own maintenance. My first cars were Chevies, including two Corvettes. I was comfortable servicing GM's so buying a Ford product was a stretch. However, the Grand Marquis was a full-size, six passenger, v-8, and looked sharp... and the salesman "talked turkey." The car has been reliable, snow worthy, and just a well-engineered vehicle. The car has everything in balance-- design, convenience, style, and comfort. It even came with a full-size spare!"

very good, reliable vehicle

Pros: "Comfortable, roomy, lots of cargo space, reliable"

Cons: "mileage isn't great, low value"

"I bought this car from my grandmother for a good price when it had 76,000 miles on it. It now has over 90,000 and I feel like the car will last a long time. A few minor issues such as the only window that will go down and back up is the drivers door, the hood doesn't stay open in cold weather, and it floods out if it doesn't warm up all the way and you try driving it. Its a solid car. I am a college student and I never once questioned if it was going to get me to class. I have to start it a little early so it will go without stalling but that is minor. It has power but its not fast. The v-8 gets decent mileage too. I get about 25 on the highway and about 17 around town. Very spacious, especially the trunk!"
