Cons: "Small oil leak"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"I've always like larger cars. My grand Marque has a very stable ride and good road feel. It has always been very reliable and has never broke down and left me stranded. I drive from Hesperia CA. to Phoenix every other month or so, averaging 6 or 7 times a year. My Grand Marque is very comfortable and is a joy to drive that distance. I've made that trip in other car and feel "almost" beat up by the time I arrive. But in my Grand Marque, I arrive feeling just fine and ready to play with my grand kids. I do have a small oil leak but it is so small I am not worried about fixing it yet. Over all, I could be happier with this car."

Pros: "Smooth ride; excellent visibility."

Cons: ""Loose" steering and brakes."

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 9

"Very solidly built car; excellent visibility (much more so than on many newer cars); very smooth ride. Easy for older people to get in and out of. Steering and brakes seem "loose" by more current standards. Finish has held up so much better than on the other two GM cars (Malibu, Impala) we've owned more recently."

Pros: "Full frame, 40+ years of refinement, comfortable"

Cons: "Some lower body panels are prone to rust"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"The Crown Victoria and Grand Marquis are the best bang for your buck if they are taken care of and maintained. Sure, the gas mileage isn't the greatest but it sure beats ANY monthly car payment. Insurance and registration are also dirt cheap. There is a reason many police and taxi fleets around the world love these cars. It is sad these cars are not made anymore. However, you will always be able to find parts for the Crown Vics and Grand Marquis, since most parts from late model and recent year models are interchangeable. ie: Most 1992-2011 Mercury Grand Marquis/Crown Vic parts will fit my 1995 Grand Marquis perfectly."
