As a farewell to this fabulous automobile, AMG and MB have created a Final Edition version with a limited run of just 350 cars worldwide. Available as a coupe or convertible, once the magic 350 number is reached, the 2015 SLS AMG GT supercar will end an epic chapter in automotive history.
Just in case the SLS AMG GT isn't ferocious enough with its standard 583 horsepower, an even more powerful Black Series coupe is available for 2014. It boasts 622 horsepower, high-performance parts like ceramic brakes, and a roughly $276,000 starting price.
One might think it difficult to improve upon the grandness that is the SLS, but for 2013 Mercedes-Benz found a way. Most notable is the addition of 20 more horsepower under the hood to raise output to 583 horsepower. In addition to adding "GT" to its name, the 2013 SLS AMG features a recalibrated 7-speed automatic transmission, modified suspension, and darkened headlights and taillights.
As supercars go, the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT for 2015 is about as super as they get. Beyond its stunning design, extraordinary horsepower and unique features such as the roadster's gullwing doors, the SLS AMG GT represents something of a return to the German automaker's glory days. Easily a match for the Aston Martin DB9, Ferrari California and Bentley Continental GT, the SLS AMG GT exotic for 2015 stares down the competition by offering a Final Edition limited run of just 350 cars. Offered as a coupe or convertible, this 583-horsepower AMG supercar will carry special carbon-fiber bits including its hood, front splitter and rear spoiler as well as unique AMG forged wheels and a Designo diamond-pattern leather interior.View Mercedes-Benz SLS-Class vehicles for sale near you.

"We own both the coupe and roadster. The roadster is my wife's only car and the coupe is mine. The dealer offered us a 7 year bumper to bumper warrantee for an extra $3500, so my future costs are fixed. They sound great, are of typical german quality, and both hold a set of golf clubs in the trunk. We are car people so we love the conversations these cars create. Our choice was over the Bentley, Lambo, Aston,Audi R8 V10 & Ferrari ... and while a couple came close, this cleary was the best built in terms of daily usability and on-going maintenance (although from a maintenance perspective, the Audi tied). Love the cars. Great purchases. (By the way, I have 11,000 on the Gullwing and my wife has 3800 miles on the roadster. One final thing ... my wife is 70 and 5'2" and has no trouble reaching the gull wing door. She brings it down as she gets in."
