Narrow year range (drag arrows to filter):
The 2014 E-Class gains an exterior refresh and refinements to its interior, which lend it a more chic, contemporary feel compared to its somewhat stodgy predecessor. Sedan and wagon buyers now have a choice between two faces: a bold Sport version, with a more aggressively styled grille and aero package that is standard on coupe and convertible models, and a more conservative Luxury treatment with a traditional Mercedes-Benz 3-pointed star. For the first time, the E-Class also inherits safety features from the S-Class before the new flagship hits the market. Also new to the E-Class is a 2.1-liter 4-cylinder turbodiesel which debuts in July 2013, and uprated power for the E63 AMG version, which is now equipped with standard 4Matic all-wheel drive and two trim levels: standard and S. An E63 S version is also offered in the wagon body style.
The 2012 E-Class now boasts an E63 AMG Wagon, while the rest of the line features a set of new engines with substantial improvements in both power and fuel economy. The BlueTEC diesel engine is the only carryover from 2011. Along with some option and package changes, the 2012 E-Class brings a revised 7-speed transmission and minor design tweaks.
Returning for 2011 is the E-Class Wagon; new are the V6- and V8-equipped Cabriolets, and the option of Mercedes' V6 BlueTec diesel engine in the E-Class Sedan. There have been minor exterior and interior design tweaks as well. The arrival of the Cabriolet and Wagon models expands the E-Class lineup. The BlueTec Diesel engine offers an option to an American market looking more and more for economy with luxury.
In the 2013 E-Class, Mercedes-Benz has created a vehicle that is many things to many people. In Sedan form, it's an elegant coach for the business elite, a car that says, "I've arrived, and I have room for three of my friends." In Coupe form, the E-Class makes for a stunning and sporty variant of the Sedan, equally expressive but singing a slightly different tune that says, "I've arrived, and it's just me." The Cabriolet is like the Coupe, only a bit more carefree, while the Wagon conforms to the Sedan's logic but with additional room for the family dog. Be it the hybrid or the diesel or the high-performance AMG, you won't find a more complete luxury car model line than is provided by the 2013 E-Class.

"I already owned a 2002 C CLass and was looking to make the move up in size. Evaluated BMW, Lexus, etc and finally decided on the E Class as the USAA rebate of $4000 was too good to pass up. MB has really come into the 21st century in a big way! This car has a great layout and styling, and the electronics and convenience features are all extremely well integrated, easy to use, and very useful. I just returned from a 1500 mile cross-country trip in this car and it was truly a pleasure to drive. I love the panorama roof and the HID headlights, and an especially nice touch is the LED cabin lighting. The front end has a nice aggressive style to it and the car handles extremely well in all driving conditions. I had my heart set on the BlueTec but when I found out the new gas engine gets only 2 mpg less than the diesel, I went with the more responsive engine. Maintenance costs are much less with gas as well."

"The car has been perfect since day one in December 2009 when I got it. With the 7 speed auto transmission and the V6 I can get 30 MPG on the highway, if I keep it under 75...It's a really great car."

"I was the first owner of the E350 Coupe in Flodida. I now have 42K on this car and I still love it. It still turns heads everywhere. Its design theme is so well thought out. I think they designed the coupe first and then they unfortunately tried to make it work in the sedan. The technology is wonderful and reliable. I'm sure there is a BMW somewhere that handles a little better; but, not as comfortable, beautiful or reliable. I don't think I will ever own another car without a panoramic roof. I will keep this car till the complete redesign comes out in 2016 and I will buy another if it is as well executed."
