The Mercedes-Benz SLK was completely re-engineered for 2012, and rolls into 2013 with only minor upgrades. Mercedes' next-generation mbrace2 telematics system, with its many Internet-based features and applications, is now standard.
The Mercedes-Benz SLK350 is all-new and much improved for the 2012 model year. In February, 2012, Mercedes will be adding the turbocharged 4-cylinder SLK250 at the bottom of the lineup, and the SLK55 AMG model at the top, and more performance and sophisticated style throughout.
For 2010, Mercedes-Benz introduces the limited production SLK300 Diamond White Edition. The car features Diamond White metallic paint, two-tone interior with baseball stitching, sport suspension and 18-inch AMG alloy wheels. Fewer than 100 copies will be sold in the U.S., so you best get your order in fast.
The SLK280 is replaced by the SLK300, which features the same engine but with a few more standard features. The SLK350 receives a bump in power to 300 horsepower and new 17-inch wheels. All SLK's receive slight exterior changes as well as a new variable ratio Direct Steering System.
A ten-year anniversary "Edition 10" trim joins the lineup, available as an SLK280 or SLK350 and offering a standard automatic transmission, 17-inch wheels and red stitching on the seats and dash.
For 2011 Mercedes-Benz has left the SLK-Class largely untouched, thanks to the fact that the company is planning to introduce an all-new version of the vehicle for 2012. Even while wearing the 2010 model's robes, the vehicle still offers an affordable way for buyers to enjoy one of the best retractable hard tops in the industry. Though the SLK-Class delivers less raw performance than competitors like the BMW Z4 and Audi TTS Cabriolet, the Silver Arrow brings unsurpassed comfort and refinement to the table - both traits that luxury roadster buyers are sure to admire.

"Buy it. This is my second SLK. You'll be surprised just how many people stop you in the parking lot asking about the car. It is truly the most fun car you will ever drive. 2-seats are really comfortable. Disclosure: you will have to adapt to to the rather small trunk and the 18" wheels are not recommended for snowy days. At the same time, the hardtop convertible delivers the best of a quiet ride and/or great top-down enjoyment."

"We have owned the SLK 250 for three months now and have been very happy with the car! It sure gets attention wherever we go. The lighting package is fantastic and helps tremendously in seeing and being seen at night. The headlights follow the road and adjust automatically. The ease of operation of the hardtop is so cool! We have had other convertibles through the years and Mercedes' engineers sure have this one done right. We live in east Tennessee, so there are some warmer days even in the winter and we enjoy the heated seats and the "air scaf" if we need to warm things up. Its a fantastic car for us and would reccomend it to anyone."
