"I owend this vehicle for just over a year and have driven right at 20,000 miles. I really like it. It looks great, and handles great and it is sporty looking for a wagon. I have not had any mechanical issues at all. I have had an issue with the radio, but no other issues. No engine light has come at this point. Compared to Lexus LS460, the Mercedes is a heavier safer vehicle."
"Owned this car for six years .it was a nice car to drive but you must be the servant to the car.when you paid higher price for the car I feel that it should serve us not the other way around. The third year the fuel pump went then the cd player got stuck needed to be replaced .the fourth year we had to keep adding one quart of oil every couple of months. Every little gilts , it s a trip to the dealer.
I would recommend this car to anyone if they like eating free bagels and donuts at the dealer."
"I have had this particular vehicle for about 4 years. My second E-class. Great for logging highway miles comfortably. Interior is a bit technologically outdated, but build quality is top-notch! (c'mon, it is a Mercedes-Benz)."
"Absolutely LOVE this car! Mercedes quality in a car with more cargo room than almost any full size SUV yet super easy to drive without the bulk. Consistently get almost 23mpg with the 4matic. Excellent in all weather including our record snowfall this past winter."
"A really good driving car, I get about 34 on the open road and 19 to
20 mpg in the city, But only if you take it easy on the starts. The seat material doesn't take the heat from the seats without cracking and is over $ 1,000.00 per seat cover. Which is ridiculous after market covers aren't much cheaper. The only other thing is the low profile tires aren't any good on rough roads (pot holes) even small ones. Had to replace the front broken springs at 20,000 miles $$$$.
Maintenance service is overly expensive. Otherwise the car drives like a dream."
