The 2012 Mercedes-Benz CLS550 brags a meaner, more coupe-like design and driving dynamics to match. Ride and handling have both been improved, and a more powerful engine has arrived. Within, you'll find a better-defined cockpit and a larger roster of tech highlights.
The CLS receives a slight freshening for 2009, with a new grille and rear exhaust outlets, a sporty three-spoke steering wheel and integrated side mirror turn signals. Despite the four clearly visible door handles, Mercedes-Benz affixes a coupe designation to its CLS for 2014, primarily due to the car's long hood, narrow side windows and racy fastback rear end.
