Great old car.

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 201,000

Pros: "Strong, smooth car. Good engineering and materials"

Cons: "No cup holder. Bad ventilation/AC controls"

"My car is a 1991 that I bought in 2000 with 72,000 miles. Since then I have only had the car not start once, and that was a shot alternator. For the twelve years I have owned it I have replaced tires, brakes, fluids, alternator, distributor, engine mounts and one or two small items like fuses. The car just goes and goes. I take it on a lot of long journeys through the mountains during the summer and the car handles it all like a champ. It is a heavy car and it's not tight like a sports car but it drives powerfully and smoothly. I get pretty good mileage too, up to 30 on the highway. I don't like the ventilating system and there is no cup holder in the car. The seats are large and comfortable and the leather is of really high quality. I've kept mine garaged and conditioned and most of the leather is like new. I would definitely buy another, but I'd get it checked out completely first."

Best car ever own!! Safe and reliable

Pros: "Excellent car, looks nice, easy to maintain."

Cons: "Original parts are expensive (last long time)"

"I got this Mercedes from the first owner with 102k miles, very well maintain and drives like a dream. Just following the manufacture recommendations for maintenance and all other repairs the car still driving like new, feels strong and stable on the road and get great gas mileage. I'm selling it because we have the S320 and I want a boat, but I'm going to miss this car, is been a great car for all this years. Mercedes build great cars and over everything the safety is like no other."

INCREDIBLE first car.

I owned and sold this car
Reason: Wanted something newer. - My approximate mileage is 287,300

Pros: "Well priced, decently powerful, sleek."

Cons: "No cup holders, manual lights, tons of brake dust."

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"I got this car (mine is really a 1990) as my first, and it was great. Good quality, solid, decently powerful, reliable, smooth (more than my dad's '08 Toyota Tundra). Plus, for it's age, it's got great features. For being 22 years old, it didn't seem like it should have been."

Pros: "A Benz, thats always a pro..."

Cons: "i had to install cupholders"

"Its a 20 year old Benz, and not a bit of decline in the ride quality, the interior is in great condition, there are three small stretches in the leather on the drivers seat. the third brake light "dust" gasket is shrunken by the sun a bit. thats the end of the wear on the interior. the outside in just as good a condition. Its a great car."

Solid Smooth and Slow

"Great car, ultra smooth ride and the best seats EVER put in a car. Really classy car. If it had more throttle response it would be perfect. I have had mine for 11 years now and its starting to show its age, but it always starts, and most days if your far enough away from it, its the nicest car in the parking lot."
