"This is truly a great car. Curretly has 107,789 miles, looks like it rolled of the show room floor and runs exelent. I have had the car for approx. one year. Had 98K on it when i purchused it for $1500. Why so cheap?, has a salvage tital but has all maintenance records. Car was taken care of it whole life and runs great.
I have the 2.6L inline six and the engine is bulet proff. Best thing about the car is everything still works great.
Only issue i have had so far is the ignition tumblers locked up. It had aleready been replaced once about two years prior, by dealer (approx. $300). Insted of replacing it again, i installed a push button start.
Just had a baby boy and the car seat fits really snug in the small back seat. i keep the seat all the way back. So far the car has been great and i will never buy anything else but a Mercades again!!!!
Blue black metalic paint
Black leather interior (very durable)
Pros: "Joyful driving, reliable, SAFE and way undervalued"
Cons: "Electrical and AC systems can by tricksy."

"I purchased a 1991 for my Dad and it has been a dream car from that day to this (2015!). Owned three subsequent MBenz and I'll never own another, compared to this car they aren't worth your time, effort, energy, money or GRIEF.
> 190,000 MI on it and the only problems I had were when I lent it to someone else and it came back to me with a host of pricey problems (weekend trips to Vegas and no maintenance). However, have happily spend the $$ to get it back up to snuff; it is the best road car ... ever. Fun to drive, with a ride that still is astonishing (oops, officer, I really didn't notice I was going 100!)
I have religiously taken it to MBenz dealer for repair (although they did forget to put the oil back in it once!), and that is likely part of its longevity. Use genuine parts and get them put in by someone who knows what they're doing. It's worth it.
And no matter how many times they ask, no I won't let anyone, even your mechanic, pry it away from you!
Oh, yeah, one last thing; that little "jerk" into first is right; it's just something you get used to; you WILL NOT win any races off the line ... but 20 yards later ... watch out!"
"I've got 69,000 miles on it and have owned it since new. The 4 cyl. isn't very peppy but I'm easy on cars and it's OK. It's a little small for me but I like the way it handles. The best thing...it's got that old style. I wish they made them like that again. Kind of like the '65 Mustang. It was a great design that should come back."
"This is a Great vehicle for anyone. I have found only one issue that really concerns me and that is the lack of cupholders. Still for a reasonably low priced Mercedes, it is well worth the inconvenience. All of the work is easy to do and easy to complete."
