"This is my first Mercedez which I bought 3 years ago. I started out with 158K and this week it has turned over to 220K and it is still running like a CHAMP! You got to give some solid credit to German engineering! Up to now I had to change two parts: the radiator - the plastic neck design at the top isn't so hot an idea! - and the fan belts. This is a well-built, well-engineered automobile, and as a saying goes, evidence speaks for itself. I will never drive any car but a MB hereon. O Kaptain! Mein Kaptain! Daly City, San Francisco region, California"

"A 1992 190e used from dealer who didn't do proper overhaul. After having it redone by MB pros, no major probs. Issues have been electrical, esp. new wiper motor (ca. 1100 bucks!) and new window regulator (ca. 500 bucks). But it is a joy to drive -- turning radius of a Honda, feel of a Lincoln. Even at 18 years old it gets compliments and envious looks. Not bad for a car with a blue book value of just over 2K."
