Pros: "roomy, comfortable to drive in"

Cons: "not reliable... always breaking down"

"Bought two years ago; Maybe this car was reliable in its earlier days but I have had headaches since I purchased it. I expect to put $ into a used vehicle but this car was a headache six months after buying. In addition to normal wear and tear repairs, I had multiple major repairs. It is comfortable to ride in, both front and back seats. It is roomy and handles well in bad weather. But it is unreliable."

Fun to drive, dependable. Has held value.

Pros: "Fun to drive, good on gas."

Cons: "Drivers window squeeks when it's going up when wet"

"I have had this vehicle for a little more than 8 years. I still love it. I needed a tune up and a computer part replaced at around 97,000 miles that was costly but it runs like new and is still worth far more than it cost to repair. Handles amazingly well in rain and snow."

Has been a reliable car. Not the best gas mileage

Pros: "Reliable mechanically"

Cons: "Wish gas mileage would be better"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 8

"Has been reliable car. Has a 3.0 v6. A four cylinder would probably have sufficed just as well. Loud cabin noise. Sound mechanically until 100,000 miles then needed engine seal replaced.intererior nothing fancy but has stood up over all. Comfortable front seats. Has leather and heated seats. Problem with heated passenger seat always comes on when someone sits down. Have never been able to figure out if switch was being hit with a foot or just a faulty switch."

Pros: "Grab a used one, can't go wrong"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"Have had this vehicle for 9 years, lived in 4 different states, driven it for a living in outside sales, gone from coast to coast and have never had a major repair. Rides like a car, has the get up and go power of a sports car with it's V6 engine. I heard they stopped making them...that's a shame best vehicle I've ever owned. Does drink a lot of gas but that's the only thing wrong. Common 270,000 + miles how can you complain."

"I have a Mazda Tribute S that requires new PCM and exhaust system. The service station is telling me not to repair - not worth value of the vehicle. Is there anyone out there who likes to work with cars interested in buying this - the body is in perfect condition and I hated giving up on it. Let me know - Thanks"

Pros: "Great vehicle to drive. It has many, many options."

Cons: "It needs an oxygen sensor."

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 9

"The Mazda Tribute has just about all the options available. I've retired and need a smaller more economical car."
