Pros: "solid, reliable, fun to drive."

Cons: "location of cup holders, height of seat belts."

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"In the 11 years that I have owned this car, it has given me almost no trouble. Recently I have had to make some relatively expensive repairs, but nothing related to the general integrity of the vehicle, just parts that one would expect to have to replace eventually. I've been loyal to the Mazda brand for close to 30 years, and I intend to buy another one soon. My only complaint would be that the cup holders are too close to the environmental controls, and the seat belt wasn't designed for someone below average height. I've certainly been able to live with these shortfalls."

"I recently took this car to the shop and was told that the timimg belt needs to be replaced as well as the sway bar links. There are some minor bumps and scratches and the left mirror was knocked off by a pedestrian and is attached with tape. The car does drive well and has done well on long road trips. All four tires and radiator were replaced last year. No accidents."

Cons: "terrible cup holders..."

"I recently hit a guard rail and decided to sel my car. Before the accident happened, I loved this car to pieces. I had next to no mechanical problems with it. It's such a cute looking car, it gets great gas mileage for being a 2000. If I hadn't hit a guard rail, I would've never sold this car. It was my baby!"

Pros: "fun cornering, braking, ramping up. Great 0% int."

Cons: "Road noise, repairs"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 7

"Great maneuverability, durable interior, from cloth seats to console. Good lumbar support, at least for this 5'1" driver. Car required more repairs early on than I would have expected. After a couple of years I grew weary of the road noise, which is pronounced in highway driving."

"One minor repair in 310,000 miles. 34mpg combined. Roomy for small car, especially trunk. What more could you want to get you where you're going?"

Pros: "I got the car for only 1000. Great gas milage"

Cons: "Low Value, Bad in the winter."

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 6

"I like this car. It isn't fancy, stylish or incredibly comfortable but it hasn't broke down so far as I have put 10 000KMS on it. It had 249 000, now it has 260 000kms. Its cheap to run. The alignment on the car is off and I have noticed that it is burning my right tire funny."
