"I have bought this car eight years ago. I loved it so much that I still don't want to give it up for a new one even though I have money to buy a new car. Some people think that it's a brand new vehicle of the late 2000 era when it's fully washed. The styling is impeccable. The drive is solid. The feel is sporty. The look is slick yet elegant. The engine is smooth and it feels quite fast. I spend no more than $500 per year maintaining it. It's seen me through raising to young toddlers till they grown up. When driving with the sun roof open, it feels like such a nice ride. The leather seats are still almost new. No rust at all. The engine purrs like a happy cat. Go Mazda!!!"

"This is one of the best cars of the 90's that wasn't made for a long duration. Its best years and last was from 1993-1997. The body is very unique and its not so curvy and rounded to make it look like a womens car either. It yells out to be driven, and its RPM's to be revved (if you're driving manual). The ratings I've given it, is for as either a driver or in the passenger seat. If you're over 5'3 and sitting in the rear seats its uncomfortable for any drive longer than 45 mins. The weight to power ratio in the V6, makes this car fly much more than its stock 160-164hp. A couple of upgrades to performance parts (as the stock parts wears away) makes you appreciate this car much more as you're making it much more stable. Mechanically its not a complicated car to fix, or even for your mechanic to reach in hard spots. Parts are cheap as there's an abundant amount of them (as it shares the same platform as Ford Probe and Mazda 626). Great car & fun to drive of any age."

"We purchased this car new in 1992 and other than routine wear & tear replacements, we have had no major problems. The car has 288,500 miles on it and just keeps on going. It's just beginning to show it's age as the overhead console (sunroof switch & overhead light) need to be replaced. The A/C is still cold, the defrosters still work, etc. I would buy another in a hearbeat!"
