I own this car - My approximate mileage is 236,000
overall rating 10 of 10rating detailsPros: "Quick, pretty car."
Cons: "Single cup holder, limited passenger space."
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10
"I absolutely love this car. 236k and still going strong. I can average around 30mpg if I baby it a little. The only downside I've found is the lack of space for passengers, as well as the single cup holder. Minus these two minor things, I love the car."

I owned and sold this car
Reason: I sold it to my "SO" as I had a newer Mazda as well. He loves it. - My approximate mileage is 230,000
Pros: "good economical car, comfortable, fun to drive"
Cons: "watch those ignition wires and you'll be fine!"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10
"I always enjoyed driving this car (and it has the MOST comfortable car seats--great lower back support !) but during its 'midlife' it had problems with the electrical system(==> the engine just stopped running--2 times!) So my mechanic upgraded my wires, and that solved it! I liked it so well, I had the faded red paint redone in Mazda's Yellow--it looked so great everyone thought I had a brand new car...timeless sports car style. That was about 9 years ago. It's now my SO's car, and I have a Mazda6 which I also love. But we like riding in the MX6 too...WOO HOO MAZDA :-)"

"I have bought this car eight years ago. I loved it so much that I still don't want to give it up for a new one even though I have money to buy a new car. Some people think that it's a brand new vehicle of the late 2000 era when it's fully washed. The styling is impeccable. The drive is solid. The feel is sporty. The look is slick yet elegant. The engine is smooth and it feels quite fast. I spend no more than $500 per year maintaining it. It's seen me through raising to young toddlers till they grown up. When driving with the sun roof open, it feels like such a nice ride. The leather seats are still almost new. No rust at all. The engine purrs like a happy cat. Go Mazda!!!"
