"I love the look of the car. The fog lights are a nice touch. Plus the black interior with the dark orange, back-lit instrument display, reminds me of a BMW or an Audi. Cruising at highway speeds is possibly my favorite feel. The E-type multi-link suspension makes you feel like your floating. When you want to drive fast you can do so comfortably. The handling is quick and responsive and you feel everything on the road through your fingers on the wheel. Best part? Buying it wont break your bank account.
Drawbacks: low-end torque and transmission response at 1st gear is a little disappointing. Lastly, the seats are pretty uncomfortable on long trips (I've done several 300mile roadtrips--always fun)...and I do wish the seats were better.
Even with the drawbacks: I love this car and still love driving it 4 years after purchase."
"I bought this vehicle used with around 100K miles and I have driven it to nearly 200K. It only gave me issues with the alternator and I believe that is because a custom cd player was installed and the wiring was not done correctly. Other than that it took me through last few years of college in NY and through a daily 60+ Mile (roundtrip) commute for over 4 years with no major complaints. The interior wasn't as rugged and durable as I would have liked but I am rough on my cars so I should have known better. Great overall"
"I've put over 200,000 miles on this car and not spent much on replacement parts. I am now ready to change front axles. I'm taking out the original ones. Great car. The only drawback is the turning radius"
Cons: "some cheap interior plastics here and there"

"Hello all KBB readers! My car is a 2004 Mazda 6 with a 2.3 4 cylinder sport pack. This car is very reliable haven't had any major problems which shows excellent reliability and strength. also this car delivers the power and torque excellently. Now, it only makes 160 horse power and 158 foot pounds of torque but unlike its competitors such as the Nissan Altima and our American friend the Ford Fusion which weighs around 3500 pounds. The Mazda on the other hand only weighs 3000 pounds. So it puts the power down excellently and the short gearing helps with that also. So now lets talk about the cars speed. With the car having the 4 speed tip tronic auto the car will do 0-60 in roughly 8 seconds, and will do a top speed of 131. Well its no Bugatti but I will say the power and torque is very, well ample. And this car is amazing around town and meant to be great on the daily commute. Also the price for what you are getting is amazing. You can find a good condition 2004 Mazda 6 with a 2.3 4 cylinder and an automatic or a manual for 2-3000 dollars. So in conclusion the 2004 Mazda 6 2.3 sport is a car for a person who needs a practical, reliable, strong, fast, fun and inexpensive 4 door sedan. So I hope this review was helpful!"
"Have owned this vehicle since 2008, when I purchased had 6000 miles, now has 77,000. Recently had new brakes installed (first time) also had drivers side arm rest recovered. Paint has had three blotches appear (about size of softball. However mechanically has been outstanding with no problems. Had alignment year ago and that is basically all I have done to this vehicle. Car has plenty of power, gets good gas mileage, in short has been a superb car."
Pros: "Handling, sporty look inside and out. Reliable!"
Cons: "Trunk space....."

"I bought this car with 131k miles. It has been driven in harsh Michigan/Upstate New York winter weather. Handled okay but with all weather tires would have been great.
It's now at 142,000 miles and I'm trading for a Honda Accord. No problems with this car whatsoever just need some more room."
