Pros: "Just a very good looking car, plenty of leg room"
Cons: "It would be nice to have more of the options"

"I have driven GM products my whole life. I traded my 2003 impala w/229000 miles. Was looking for another impala, when the dealer heard that I average 600-800 miles per week for work he suggested that I take this Mazda3 for a drive. I was immediately impressed with the handling and the bigger than it was feel on the inside. The dealer then informed me that I would average over 30 mpg on the highway I was instantly sold. I have a 4 year old son that loves the car also, he calls it his black sports racer..."
"Great road handling and comfortable interior. Has all the bells and whistles you could want. My only complaint is the gas mileage never reached what I expected.Good on road trips, but maybe 18 MPG in town."
"It is a driving experience. Feels tight like a sports car and gets fantastic mileage. I avg. around 36/37 mpg per tank without driving like a Nancy. The only complaint I have after 1 yr of ownership is that the trunk width is too narrow for my golf clubs with the driver in the bag but I hear the '14 3 has a 2-inch wider trunk. That's the ONLY complaint."
"Nice car! I get about 33 mpg highway and 26 city. Interior is stylish. Pretty good "get up and go" power for a 4 cyl. I do hope that your passengers are tiny though because the leg room in back is minimal. Trunk does have surprisingly a lot of room though. Also has very good turn radius."
"very well worth the money. you will need to get Rally Armor mud flaps, due to the debris that gets through from the tires. very fast and if you get the COBB cold air intake, you will be able to hear the turbo and will make it quicker. AWESOME and i love this car."
"This is my second Mazda3, and I love this one, and the last one. I did have a baby recently, though, and it barely fits our needs. You literally can't have someone sit in the front seat while the car seat is in the back, making family trips for my husband's car. Great for a single person!"
"SICK TOURQUE STEER, HOLD ON TIGHT OR YOUR GOING RIGHT!! LOL
DONT BUY THIS CAR FOR RIDE COMFORT. IT IS COMFY BUT BONE CHARRING HARD SUSPENSION. BUT OTHER THEN THAT THERE ARE NO FAULTS. PRACTICAL AND FAST!"
"This car has great performance, slot-car handling plus a lot of amenities for the money. This Mazdaspeed is not at all like the regular Mazda3. I could be happier with a little less noise and that is the only reason I gave a 4/5 Overall Rating. Nevertheless, I traded a 2007 MS3 for this one, so I knew what I was getting."
"BUY IT if you enjoy driving a sports car but need something affordable. With the 5 speed, even the 2.0 version is fun enough to drive. You can even autocross with this car! DON'T BUY IT if you are someone who just thinks it is cute. For example my wife wants something small and cheap on gas, but she doesn't drive fast at all, goes slow around corners, etc. She would be better off with the Focus,or Mazda 2, or Fiesta."
"I have a 2010 Mazda 3s with the bigger 2.5 motor. I love this car because it is a blast to drive. The shifts are nice and precise but a little long and the clutch can feel numb at times. The exterior style is either a love or hate relationship. I personally like the exterior because it stands out, others don't. You have to see the car in person because pictures don't do the car justice. The interior is were they could do better. I love having the eye brow screens at eye level, along with the dash and most other things being soft touch material. It doesn't feel cheap, it actually feels like a nicer car then then the price tag lets on. However, the fact that there is no USB was a big deal for me. I had a Ford Focus with SYNC before this can mis it almost everyday. Also, the sound system is not the best (already got my replaced with Alpine speakers). On the other hand I like how everything the driver needs to use is in easy reach."
"Love this car, wish I had gone with the 2.5 S 5 door hatch but we were payment driven and it is a second car. Sunroof and Bose system. Sounds amazing. Bluetooth sync so easy. Would like a 6th gear but the 5 speed manu-matic works well enough. Driving dynamics are amazing."
"I have put 8k miles on my Mazdaspeed. I have been to the track and up the twisty country roads in the mountians. I still find this car to be a very fun daily dirver. The power and handleing of this car really suprises a lot of people. Just wish it did not have the silly red dots on the interor. Lots of go fast mods available, and the car responds well to the aftermarket mods. Still not as fun as my lotus, but again it is a daily driver!"
"It's fast, it's comfortable, and the Bose speakers are the bomb diggity. For a small car, it's pretty spacious and can accommodate my 2 growing kids and husband with ample room to spare. Surprisingly, my kids prefer the comfort of my Mazda3 over my husband's BMW 650i. That right there says a LOT."
