I own this car - My approximate mileage is 56,000
overall rating 1 of 10rating detailsPros: "fast acceleration, responds well"
Cons: "horrible set up, can't charge anything when off"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 1
"I went from a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee to this tiny car. At first it looks like it has lots of space, but after a couple of road trips in it it feels like a matchbox car. The gas mileage isn't as expected, I get about 26 combination of city and hwy and 28 interstate IF I keep it below 70mph. The cup holders are plentiful, but have no insert to remove to clean any spills. This creates lots of sticky messes since I have children. There are a lot of "little things" that just completely irritate me, like the gas is on the passenger side, or the window lock button keeps the DRIVER from operating the windows not just the passengers."

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 48,000
overall rating 7 of 10rating detailsPros: "Pretty, convenient"
Cons: "Costly odds and ends repairs"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 6
"The car has overall been good to me. I love the convenience of the hatchback, it looks nice, and drives comfortably. However, after only 5 years it is hitting some seriously costly repairs. Both window fluid pumps have broken and both front door locks have broken, and it is beginning to have transmission issues. I've read online that this is beginning to be noticed amongst many buyers."

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 55,000
overall rating 10 of 10rating detailsPros: "Handling, solid feel, comfort."
Cons: "Rattle in rear suspension."
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10
"Have had this for over two years now. It runs great with no issues. I am an ocd person in regards to maintenance and this car has only had oil and atf fluid changes. It is comfortable, fairly quiet, and generally a nice place to be when on the road. Yeah, it does have a rattle somewhere in the rear suspension, but that's about it for any problems. It handles very well and is fun to drive. I use full synthetic oil and atf, yet I get only about 31 mpg highway and 25 mpg city. With a 2.0 liter I expected a bit better, but that's not a major complaint. I had a 1991 Protege that was also a car that somehow came across as very well built and tight fitting. Just a solid car...I'm very excited to see the diesel engine in the 3 as this car would kick some butt and get great fuel economy to boot. Great car!"
