"I was hurt Ina car accident in 1989 when a semi hit my new dodge car and literally killed me at the scene but they brought me back. If I had a car like my gorgeous Lincoln towncar I know I would not have been hurt nearly as bad. I pray each day that the fools who work for the ford Lincoln would read all of these great reviews and bring them back even in a 6 cylinder version would work for me. I have had my car for the last ten months and I would buy it again. I love these cars."
Pros: "well built, very comfortable, fuel efficient"

"This is my 5th Town Car. I've bought them all used at around 50,000 miles. I've only had to make minimal repairs, they ride beautifully, they all got excellent gas mileage, and I think that Ford was absolutely "STUPID" to cease production of this great car."
"Overall the car is great for long & short trips. I must say that the seats in my 1994 were more comfortable. Steering is tight, fast acceleration, good braking, lots of trunk space and the tires do not need to be balanced often. Gas mileage on the road is a steady 25mpg. Around town about 14mpg."
"This is my 14th Lincoln. I have owned 4 with this body style. Two 2005's, a 2000 and my present 2001 with only 39475 miles on it. I love Lincolns, especially the Town Cars, but I would never buy one of these new. The depreciation is brutal.
On a long trip, it's like sitting in your lazy boy at home.
The only gripe I would have; one more inch of knee room."
