"I own my Lincoln for the nearly 3 years and I love it. The car was in mint condition when I bought it at a car dealership. The only problems I have had with it is I had to replace the flasher switch and a power window motor in one of the back doors."

Pros: "Great ride, reliability, luxury, controls, engine,"

"I have had the best times out my 97 Town car this vehicle is overall greatest ever been on this planet. Was thinking a new replacement just can't beat the ride and terrific reliability on this car. I had relatives, friends even strangers who rode in my Lincoln saying its the comfortableness car ever sat inside luxury cabin of interior. The Town car is very quiet...Solid powerful smooth ride on 8 cylinder engine which gives great acceleration and delivering perfect handling ever more of a Mercedes or Cadillac. Its a Yacht On Wheels I just love my 17 year old luxury automobile feels more a couch in the car instead being in my own living room because a relaxing vehicle which the ride makes you fall asleep faster as somebody is singing you to sleep. Climate control, auto temp, leather seats and all electronics is everything what love on this Town car its a classic automobile from the 90s. A shame they don't make these excellent rides like tanks anymore because this is one great car worth the excellent KBB value ever under a price probably $5,000 or $4,000 maybe bit higher depends on condition and mileage of the vehicle...Otherwise no matter what there will always be a used reliable Town car from 95-97 waiting to be in your driveway and get you from Point A to Point B these are Duracell long lasting cars. Planning to keep the car until won't be able to drive anymore."

Pros: "Explained above."

Cons: "Explained above"

"This car was purchased used in 2003. A deer ran in front of it in 2004 causing the air bags to discharge which cracked the leather/composition console. They were replaced along with the damage to the hood and exterior light section. Damages were cosmetic. Essentially, I have changed the oil regularly, replaced the serpentine belt, had one set of brakes, and some minor irritations fixed. I have been away for long periods of time, and it started right away. In 2006, I mistakenly put Michelien tires on the car which were too soft cutting the mpg. it now gets about 17.2 mpg.and most of my driving now is within 2 hours, and in the past have driven long distances many times. Due to aging, the oil is topped off and less frequently, the transmission fluid. In 2013, the heater/defroster went and the charge to have it fixed was $1100. The shop also sealed the lighter with glue or solder used in the repair, and stressed the driver side door, which has to be slammed to shut securely. The shop denied any responsibility. This has caused that window to be inoperable. These things have nothing to do with the quality of the car itself. A Lincoln is a car you have to learn how to drive. In spite of all the negativity about sluggishness, if you learn to get a feel for it, and how to accelerate, your driving experience will be superior. If needed, this car can also take off. Again, you have to develop a feel for it. There is one thing I do not like, it can be lousy in snow especially on hills and curve. Weighting the trunk helps to a degree. It is a little boxy but still attractive. This car has some paint and other surface erosion but from my perspective, I think it is a fantastic car. It has over 205,000 miles on it."
