Pros: "Comfort, gas mileage, third row"

Cons: "air bags do not like cold"

"We bought this Lincoln approximately two years ago with about 75000 miles. It is reliable, comfortable and the best SUV I ever owned. The only issue we have had is in very cold weather (20 degrees and below) the air bags do not inflate and you must warm the car for over 35-45 min before they will respond."

I absolutely love this vehicle!

Pros: "great sound & navigation system heated/cooled seat"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"I purchased this vehicle brand new. It is now 10 years old and in excellent condition. It is so comfortable to drive and ride in. This vehicle had all the bells and whistles, except for a DVD system, which I added before taking possession of it. It was more money that I had ever spent on a vehicle and the payments higher, but it has absolutely been worth every penny. I have only needed the required maintenance for the past ten years. It is so reliable and is still a great ride."

Pros: "Towing, comfort, safety"

Cons: "Do not buy if you worry about gas prices"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"With the Gator, my family and I travel all over Michigan and drive to Florida every other year. Complete comfort and quality for the 2005 Unlimited model. For travel in the snow, the Gator plows right through and has excellent control at low and high speeds. Been in up to 9" snow on the trails and the Gator pulls right through. I use the Gator for towing utility trailer and personal boats. Was worried when I bought a 24' boat and first hooked up the Gator. The drive home from Michigan City, IN to Detroit was uneventful. Gator pulled the boat without issue (boat and trailer = 6200#). Most importantly, each of my three kids learned to drive with the Gator and there is no substitute to safety and size. I plan to own this pig till it croaks. If you plan to use the Gator as an every day vehicle, the gas mileage can be a burden."

Pros: "Looks great, rides well, power for towing."

Cons: "With age, air suspension rises slowly if very cold"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"This car has been a luxury workhorse from the get go. I've towed trailers of all kinds, loaded canoes on the top, driven in all kinds of conditions and it has never failed. It's has been a quality, comfortable vehicle... and still is. Only negative: 12 to 14 miles per gallon. But eleven years with very few repairs and nothing major... I can't complain."
