Lincoln claims the MKX enters its segment with both class-leading power output and fuel economy from its 305 horsepower, 3.7-liter V6, which returns 19/26 mpg (city/hwy) on the FWD model, and 17/23 when equipped with all-wheel drive. The 2011 MKX also offers a range of posh standard equipment, including the extremely cool MyLincoln Touch user interface.
With the 2006 introduction of its mid-size Zephyr (now MKZ) sedan and a nicely reworked Navigator SUV for 2007, Lincoln is on a bit of a roll. This very nice new MKX crossover utility vehicle (CUV) is a welcome addition to its stable. Lincoln is far from first to the car-based "crossover" party, but this all-new entry is fresh in terms of its generally excellent blend of style, function, features and driving dynamics. One thing it does not havesomewhat surprisingly, given its fairly substantial sizeis an available third-row seat. Three-seat CUV seekers can check out Ford's less expensive and more conservatively styled Freestyle, but there is no Lincoln version of that.

"We ordered our MKX and picked it up just over a week ago, and we love it! It has great styling, comfort, and is a great value. We got it with AWD and every option that you can put on it. We had done a lot of shopping before we ordered, including RX350, Avalon, Acadia, Highlander, Infinity. The MKX blows away the competition in price, looks, comfort, and value. And the styling is new, so everyone looks. Just a couple of picks - the navigation system is great, but addresses cannot be programmed when moving (even by your passenger); the 2nd address that we tried to locate was not in the system DVD (even though it had been in business for over 15 years); we have a rattle in the vista roof screen that the dealer will need to fix."

"My wife and I leased our MKX in September of 2007 and both of us agree that it has been the best vehicle that we have ever had. The quality, ride, comfort and style are superb! We are so pleased with it that we plan on purchasing it when our lease expires. The blue book value is approximately $2,500 -$3,000 more than my lease buy out of $23,800. The only complaint if you can call it one, is that the gas mileage is not the best, however it is well worth the sacrifice for the "safety" that you have when you are driving in extreme weather conditions with your loved ones on board. We would strongly recommend this vehicle."

"I have been a die hard Toyota owner and I drove past my local Lincoln Dealer and I fell in love with the design and style of my MKX. Never ever seen a sun roof like this one. It is called a Vista Roof and I will definitely recommend this crossover to anyone that wants a true luxury experience."
