"My last car was a fully loaded 2005 Chrysler 300C but got sold to my brother - giving me an excuse to buy an SUV. After doing A LOT of comparison shopping with similar vehicles, I bought my MKX with about 10,000 miles on it. It was previously driven by a Ford rep at the corporate level & still had the original title held at Ford. I got a GREAT deal on mine - and it was fully loaded, so I didn't mind the gorgeous cherry red paint. I've driven so many "nice" vehicles in the past... from Lexus to Vette's to the last 300C with the Hemi. This MKX has just enough power to keep me happy, lots of wow for looks, and all the fun stuff - double moon roof, NAV, Sirius, Blue tooth/Sync, MP3 player, 20+ inch rims, and air conditioned seats. I've owned the MKX for a full year as of tomorrow. Super happy with it - and very glad I was able to pay cash for it. I had legal tint added to the front windows, a license plate cover, and I'm set. I don't mind that the gas mileage is a little less than some - it's well worth the solid feel of the vehicle and the safety of the AWD. The finance person at the dealership owned one herself and likened hers to a bull dog that grips the road. Sure enough that's how it behaves. My one and only complaint... I could hear some light crackling noise coming from near the moon roof area. The dealership thought they had it fixed, but they really didn't. I haven't happened to notice it for a while, and if I hear it again before the FOUR YEAR warranty expires, I'll take it back in to be checked. It's no wonder Lincoln got such great reviews last month!! They were listed in the top ten car manufacturers... I think Lincoln placed 8th. In my opinion, they've earned it."
