"This car was so classy and powerful. Got it new and took good care of it. The low mileageis only due to not being far from work and play. In the endhad a few electrical repairs done but it was a classic sports car in my opinion. Husband finally got me to give it to his creepy brother but he will take care of it."

Pros: "Styling, mileage, comfort, quality, driveability"

Cons: "Ford is discontinuing parts!"

"Particularly in today's market, the Lincoln Mark VIII can be an amazing value. There are a very limited number remaining that are in decent condition, but the 'bang for the buck' factor is very high. With a 290hp LSC upgrade sporting the 4.6L Cobra engine, the Mark VIII offers plenty of power while being surrounded by one of the best looking and most comfortable interiors... even now. Parts are becoming more scarce, so join a car club or online forum, but I believe that this beauty is fast becoming a true American classic."

"Super Comfortable, SUPER POWERFULL, (& except for the transmission solenoids), very Durable. One of the Last TRUE, American Classics. I bought it in mint condition, stored, with only 62,000 miles on it. Never smoked in, No Rust. Flawless. for $3500. The Trouble I constantly had with this Car was not necessarily mechanical, but TOO MUCH ATTENTION and Drama Constantly surrounding it, It was a $3500.00 car that people thought was a $60,000.00 car Every. Day. So much so - They Cut My Hours at Work & the Land lord Raised My Rent. Nobody wanted to work on my Mark VIII either, or fix the simple maintenance things my 15 year old car needed like tires, oil changes, belts, or brake pads without Over Charging me by THOUSANDS. yes, Thousands!! - Sighting that it was "Such a Rare car", and it was Soo Hard to Work on".. (which I know was NOT entirely true).. I ended up selling the car in Mint Condition to a backyard mechanic for $1800.00. The Guy fixed and maintained everything on it for $50 dollars & it is still the most Beautiful car on the Road in Southwest Florida Today."

Lsc, leather seat, sun roof and so much more.

"I have to say i was not sure about the car when i first got it . The engine looks like something out of a space movie. But it does have some get up and go handles very well at high speeds. The sun roof is a little off and always seam to get the sun right in my face. the sound system is not very load, but has a wonderful crisp sound to it. The nose on the car did take some time to get use to. the front seat are wonderful lots of space, how ever the back seat is a little some but would be wonderful for kids or us short people :). Once you get a feel for the car it was not hard to work on, did find my self doing a lot of changes to the car mostly little things like brighter headlights and loader speakers. But over all i am very happy with the car and anything i was not able to work on was easy to find in auto part stores and i did not have to pay an armor and a leg to take it in to the shop."

"I grew up around real muscle cars and really do not care much about too many cars 1975 and up.But as a sideline,I buy and sell cars and came across a good buy on one of these. I have to say I am impressed. It handles great, has good power and nice to look at. And it does turn heads."

Pros: "Still cheap to buy, 290 hp stock, Actually fits 4"

Cons: "Out of production, Air suspension"

My evergreen LSC

"I bought mine about 8 months ago. It is the best car I've had yet. It has looks, performance, luxury And quriks. It is the last nice car from Lincoln. The rest are limos or dog ugly things. It's a muscle car that was never marketed as such. As big as a Challenger, yet plushy. With mods can blow away cars on the drag strip. Yet still look classy in the parking lot. The only negatives are the Air Suspension system (If it fails, pricey to fix), HID lights( no longer in production), Chilton's book is useless for the Late models. Want Mustang fun, but your 40? Buy one of these."
