"I bought my 1996 Lincoln Continental Anniversery Edition for $500 last November. Had to do a full tuneup, replaced the radiator to be on the safe side (mainly because it was 16yrs old and plastic end caps are very prone to dry rot), new shifter cable (because the previous owner somehow broke it), tires, brakes, the usual stuff. I love this car, its my baby, no rust, never breaks down, I usually get 17 mpg city, 28 Hwy, and on the interstate, I average 32mpg with the a/c on!! I drive about 1000 miles a week on the interstate for work, i have put about 30,000 miles on the car since ive had it. Insurance is cheap (for me,I'm 21), its easy to work on, extremely reliable, very powerful for something with so many miles, its a screamer, its no problem to blow the dorrs off my buddys roushe mustang. Overall awesome car, beautiful, tough and safe. Great buy. Tis a shame they don't make like they used to."

Cons: "Door open indicator is poor design."

"As a luxury Automobile this is the greatest, I get 22MPG on Hwy cruising at 75 Mph. Town is not that good only 15MPG. I have only owned one other luxury automobile that I would even try to compare to this Continental and this would be the ride of a Cadillac is somewhat smother, But The interior is better than a Cadillac and it handles better."

"What can I say, I love this car its a driving computer almost.I too enjoy the 1 and 2 seater thats memorised, because there a big difference between my husband and I reach. I love everything about this care, cause it tells you when theres a low tire pressure or low on antifreeze. For sure this car is way beyond the today time. My car is awesome in every way I never new that LINCOLN CONTINENTAL had so much to offer to its owner. Just wish I could afford a newer Lincoln.I have driven so many other vehicles over the years, and this car this the ULTIMETE ABOVE ALL."

"Made in USA! Very reliable car. I am pleasantly surprised in this area. I have owned cars from a few manufactures such as: Toyota; Honda; Subaru; Ford; Chevrolet; Cadillac; Fiat; Dodge; Chrysler; Plymouth; Mitsubishi and Pontiac, and this is one of the best. Its my 1st Lincoln and I have been pleasantly surprised by not only its excellent reliability, but its overall performance. This car has an excellent drive train. I love to beat up on V6 sport cars(some older V8's), BMW's, Lexus's, Audi's and comparable luxury//sport cars that think they own the road. Its a nice compromise between performance and fuel economy. I average 22 on the highway and 19 in the city. Granted I am not saving the Earth, but I I am having a better time driving my Lincoln than you are driving your Prius. The creature comforts are great! It doesn't ride like a Cadillac, because its a Lincoln! I have owned them both and do prefer the ride of the Lincoln over the squishy ride of the Cadillac, any day of the week. All in all an excellent car to own and drive. Insurance"

"Hardly ever given us any trouble. Has a great motor, it is a roomy family car that is fun to drive. Love the trunk space for groceries or vacation. I feel Lincoln's have always been ahead of their time. It really has spoiled me, I think all cars should have the options a Lincoln has, like the seat movement and adjusting the mirrors for driver one and two. There is a huge height difference between my husband and I so having the car remember our personal settings is wonderful."
