The RX 350 receives only detail changes for 2008, including two new exterior colors, chrome door handles and a revised grille design. Inside, black bird's-eye maple wood trim is now available with the light grey interior and a positive shutoff switch has been added to the standard Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) system.

Based on the company's popular RX 350 car-based SUV, the full-hybrid Lexus RX 400h Lexus combines a 3.3-liter V6 engine with two electric motor-generators (three in all-wheel-drive models) and a large battery fitted beneath the rear seat. All together, the system combines to deliver quicker acceleration, significantly improved fuel economy and a warm, fuzzy, green feeling.
