I own this car - My approximate mileage is 120,000
overall rating 9 of 10rating detailsPros: "fun to drive and reliable"
Cons: "3000 rpm at 70"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10
"I bought this vehicle dirt cheap thinking Kia was a piece of junk and to my surprise this car is very silent, drives nice, smooth riding and I have had very little problems over last three years. I replaces auto 4-wheel hubs with manuals from ebay-Warner a 10 minute job.110 dollars. This is my use for everything and pull trailer vehicle. Very happy with it and the 4-wheel goes right around my neighbors jeep during deep snow. I only wish it was a little higher geared. 5spd. 21MPG"

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 102,000
overall rating 6 of 10rating detailsPros: "Turning around in tight spots!"
Cons: "No intermitent wipers"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 6
"The Kia Sportage runs good, turns around on a dime. It would be awesome for dryer weather where you could take the soft top off, and let the wind blow in your face. Has no intermittent wipers, and in the Willamette Valley Oregon, that is not a good thing. Eastern Oregon, Southern Oregon, might be exceptable with just 2 speeds on your wipers. It gets 20-21 mpg hwy just as it has been rated. Could be better with cruise control, instead of air conditioning. Plenty of power if you need to climb a hill or merge into heavy traffic. Soft top is a little hard to see out of in the winter when it's cold. But summer time with the top off and the stereo cranked up, it's a young kids dream ride."

overall rating 10 of 10rating detailsPros: "the vehicle is easy to maneuver & fun to drive"
Cons: "spare tire rack seems to rust on most models"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10
"I bought the vehicle used in 2006. It gets upper 20's on the highway and lower 20's in town. It has been very reliable, no maintenance costs other than routine upkeep."

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 168,000
overall rating 2 of 10rating detailsLikely to recommend this car? (1-10): 1
"I bought this car used in 2006 and have had nothing but trouble with it ever since. it has been in the shop more than it has been driven. after less than 10 months of driving it, the engine went out, bought a new engine and since then there has been one thing after another. every fix costs well over $300 and it just isn't worth all the time and money that has been put into it. i reckon i've spent well over $4,000 in repairs alone and have never even been in an accident with it. this car is a money hole. don't buy it!"
