"I have used this car for many road trips visiting family in several states. I've only had to replace the battery twice and no major mechanical issues. It's been in a couple of accidents and it still runs great! I trust my car over any new vehicle out there."
"Aside from replacing the tires and batteries, I've had few repair bills and the engine still runs great at 90,000. The body, however, is in poor shape. The paint is bad and the insulation is coming off around the hatchback. At least I no longer have to care about dings and dents after a couple of kind people have dented it in parking lots."
Pros: "Reliable, fun to drive, cheap to fix, good price"
Cons: "Temperature sensitive, paint fades on plastic."

"Today, I rolled over the 294,000 mile mark and its still driving as good as it did when I bought it with 22,000 miles. I bought it as a program car and still had the warranty. Its had regular services as recommended and ALWAYS been performed by a KIA certified mechanic. I love the 2.0L 4 cylinder engine for its power going up hills and long grades, it is actually quite fun to take a drive through the mountains. It does have a sensitivity to temperature, 50s and 60s it tends to sound rough but it still does well and never disappoints. Other than the normal maintenance, it was in the shop once for a L-R solenoid replacement in the transmission which just cost about $500 to fix, no big deal. The interior is still doing well, the radio amazingly still does great and the sound system is great as I am a heavy metal fan. It does need a few small superficial fixes here and there and I will probably get on that soon, again, no big deal. Its a great car and Ive more than got my money`s worth from it. The key is making sure its been taken care of BEFORE you get it and staying current on all maintenance after you buy it. If you do you will be sharing this experience yourself."
"I did get this car really cheap, too good to be true. I was right. I got a whole month of life out of it. The check engine light came on, then I turn my car on and started to have a difficulty starting, one day the engine started to ping, pang, sputter and die while driving on the freeway. Would not start ever since.
Otherwise, it was a car that drove amazingly for that very short time frame. Loved the gas mileage! I should of bought one that was better taken care of."
