Yet another big mistake

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 103,000

Pros: "Gas mileage"

Cons: "Everything else"

"We bought it and withing 3 months had to put a new transmission into it. That was under 100000 miles. It has been back into the shop 6 more times so far and we are only at 106000 miles. Nothing but issues left and right. Everything seems to break. Unfortunately we financed and are stuck with it for the next 2 years."

Good up to 200K

"Very good and good gas miliage, about 38 mpg manual. Lasted up until about 200K miles then transmission failed. Great car while it lasted."

RUNS GREAT

"I've owned my car for 10 years and never had a problem or expensive fix. It's a cheap car that runs great and is great on gas! Also it seems small but seats fold down and you would be impressed what will fit in it. ITS A GREAT LITTLE CAR!"

Fantastic little car!

Pros: "Price, reliability, mpg., handling."

Cons: "Cheap trim, interior, etc.; overall build."

"I have owned my 03' Spectra for almost 3 years now and in over 20,000 miles have had no major issues. It has been an extremely reliable little roller skate, never let me down. I keep up on oil changes and thats it. It may be chincy and cheap, but thats part of it's appeal; I never worry about it being dinged, getting messy, etc. The gas mileage is great and it's pretty peppy for a little four-banger. Also handles pretty good. All in all awsome little disposable car that you will get your value out of."

GREAT CAR FOR FUEL MILEAGE!

Pros: "Great on gas, Dependable, Cant kill it!"

Cons: "Power Windows and Locks are a nightmare!!!!!"

"Kia runs good. Bought it with 4500 miles on it used. Its been a great car mechanically. IT REALLY HOLDS UP GOOD TO ABUSE! It hasnt had the oil changed regularly or maintained like it should have been. The only thing I would suggest is getting manual windows and locks. They have given alot of problems and are pricey to repair. Other than that I would say its a great car for the money. Its not a Mercedes or Corvette but gets you to and from where you need to go and the A/C works great! Hope this helps any one looking to buy a Kia. This car company has came along way!"

Excellent value for the money!

Cons: "lots of road noise"

"While this is no luxury car,for the money spent you can't go wrong.The fuel mileage is a constant 28 mpg highway and comes with features Honda and Toyota don't have on the base models.ie:electric windows,elec mirrors,elec door locks."
