Pros: "Reliable, fun to drive, cheap to fix, good price"

Cons: "Temperature sensitive, paint fades on plastic."

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"Today, I rolled over the 294,000 mile mark and its still driving as good as it did when I bought it with 22,000 miles. I bought it as a program car and still had the warranty. Its had regular services as recommended and ALWAYS been performed by a KIA certified mechanic. I love the 2.0L 4 cylinder engine for its power going up hills and long grades, it is actually quite fun to take a drive through the mountains. It does have a sensitivity to temperature, 50s and 60s it tends to sound rough but it still does well and never disappoints. Other than the normal maintenance, it was in the shop once for a L-R solenoid replacement in the transmission which just cost about $500 to fix, no big deal. The interior is still doing well, the radio amazingly still does great and the sound system is great as I am a heavy metal fan. It does need a few small superficial fixes here and there and I will probably get on that soon, again, no big deal. Its a great car and Ive more than got my money`s worth from it. The key is making sure its been taken care of BEFORE you get it and staying current on all maintenance after you buy it. If you do you will be sharing this experience yourself."

Pros: "Price, Fun to Drive, Gas MPG"

Cons: "Cheap Engine"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 3

"I did get this car really cheap, too good to be true. I was right. I got a whole month of life out of it. The check engine light came on, then I turn my car on and started to have a difficulty starting, one day the engine started to ping, pang, sputter and die while driving on the freeway. Would not start ever since. Otherwise, it was a car that drove amazingly for that very short time frame. Loved the gas mileage! I should of bought one that was better taken care of."

Pros: "great on gas."

Cons: "suppension part's are not worth a darn."

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 8

"I believe Kia needs to put a recall on the rubber around the window's I cant use my driver's side window. Replaced motor & regulator already. The rear end on the spectra's are loose. The sway bar links & struts don't last long at all. Other than this it has been a really dependable car."

Pros: "New battery, good breaks, great on gas"

Cons: "needs new front tire bolts, door handle needs fix"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 8

"This car is good for getting back and forth to work(great on gas!!!) and all other local necessities. Needs new bolts for front tires and a new back passenger side tire as its currently on a donut. Driver door only opens from inside. other than that car runs and will get you where you need to be and will also be good if you are looking to fix up a car and sell for even more money."
