The 2012 Kia Sedona minivan remains largely unchanged from last year, with the exception of an available rear-seat DVD entertainment system on the LX trim (previously available only on the EX).
The Sedona minivan is a consumer's best friend and a nightmare for rival manufacturers. In just a few short years, Kia has transformed the Sedona from a middle-of-the-road minivan into a first-rate transport. With class-leading horsepower and safety ratings, seating for eight and a 10-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty, it's hard to argue with the Sedona. Toss in a sticker price thousands less than a comparably-equipped Honda Odyssey or Toyota Sienna and the Sedona looks downright unbeatable. Of course, the Sedona's resale figures can't compare with its Japanese rivals, but if the initial bottom line is more important than what you might get come trade-in time, the Sedona should be at the top of your shopping list.

"We traded out 2011 Kia soul in on this Sedona LX with the power package which gives you a lot of extras. We average 23-24 mpg around bout driving. The Soul was a little difficult ot enter and exit as we are in our late sixties and I have an artificial knee. The Sedona fits our needs very nicely and is easy to enter and exit. When on the interstate we run 70-72 mph and the tach runs 1600-1700 rpms. That goes a long way on saving the engine over the years. Everything about the Kia Sedona speaks quality and craftsmanship. We really like the driveability and the comfortable ride. Rides a lot better that the Soul"

"I traded a Ford Flex (which I thought was a dream come true own). The Kia Sedona had the right amount of seating, plus the price was right at the right time. No complaints yet, EXCEPT! There is no sound proofing, At speeds at 40MPH the radio has to be turned up to hear. The outside noises are overwhelming."

"i am 6 feet 2 and 300 so i need my leg and width room, and for me this is just not adequate enough, great pick up with the v6,but terrible gas mileage in my opinion i use consistent name brand, even tried switching to premium fuel, and so far the best mileage i have seen is 16 mpg local, 14 with premium!so i am ready to trade it in,of course at a loss, but i am waiting to see what kia will offer, only has 2100 miles and ford is offering,17 to 17,500,no way on a 25000 van,so i will endure for now, until i get a better offer, nice vehicle, well equipped, but for this large gentleman,it just wont due."
