About Kia Optima

Kia employed German designer Peter Schreyer (best known for the Audi TT) to oversee all of its designs. In the 2014 Optima, Mr. Schreyer has penned one of the most dynamic midsize sedans on the planet. Wisely, Kia backs the Optima's good looks with a choice of cutting-edge engine technologies, including a hybrid model, and has given its interior a thorough makeover. Costing no more than the average family sedan, the Optima outshines the competition both visually and in terms of optional equipment. Beyond its great fuel economy and unbeatable warranty, Kia offers such luxuries as a panoramic moonroof and heated and cooling front seats. Whether you seek the most basic LX or the top-of-the-line SX Limited, the Optima always delivers more than what its asking price suggests.

Cons: "none"

"This car offers so much for the price. The best is the 100,000 mile drive train warranty. This told me that Kia has a lot of faith in this car. I have owned it for two and one half years and have put 27,000 miles plus on it and nary an issue. Zip, nada, nothing. And it is the most comfortable car that I have driven. That's important for someone in their mid 60's."

"This is a wonderful car by all means. Very economic (City=25/26 Road=35/40), depending the way you drives, very silently, comfortable and real speedy when you need it, excellent traction and stability. Love to drive this car. I bought it 2011 with 0 miles cost me 19,200, so price is wonderful too, as the warranty. Treatment at the agency wonderful too. Of course i am recommending this car to everybody. This is an Optima LX 2011 from KIA"
