If your budget says mac and cheese, but your self-worth demands prime rib, one of the three 2013 Kia Forte compacts is sure to satisfy both demands. Good resale and reliability ratings should ease wor
Looks can sometimes be deceiving. While the 2013 Kia Forte LX and EX may appear sporty, their overall ride and handling aren't as tight or refined as the Ford Focus or VW Jetta. The exception here
On the open road, the 2013 Kia Forte is the master of its domain – so long as the road to that domain remains straight and level. Toss in a few curves, however, and the Forte LX and EX, with their smaller engine and wheel/tire combo, aren't as much fun to drive as the more powerful SX trim. Even in its most aggressive SX suit, the Forte won't deliver the kind of seat-of-your-pants cornering found in the Ford Focus or Mazda3, and its manual transmission is nowhere near as refined. Don't get us wrong; the Forte is not terribly s

I don't own this car
overall rating 2 of 10rating detailsLikely to recommend this car? (1-10): 3
"I have been maintaining and repairing cars for 18 years. I have been driving the Kia Forte for sometime now. The car drives OK, but I don't think I would want to pay anything over $11,000. If you are going to spend the kind of money Kia ask for these cars I would personally buy Honda, Ford, Chevy, Dodge, or VW. If you want a car with quality and not do much maintenance I would go Honda or Ford. And if its the warranty part that sells you with this car, check around. Some dealers will offer 100,000 mile, 150,000 mile, and I have even seen lifetime warranty on Chevy's."

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 65,000
overall rating 4 of 10rating detailsPros: "MPG"
Cons: "Build Quality, Ride Quality, Parts availablity."

"Reliable daily vehicle, though the cheap build quality shows in almost every area of the car. With 65000 miles on this I can't find parts to replace suspension anywhere. Dealer tried to charge $150 for a literally 2 minute filter replacement. Check youtube under Cabin Air Filter, its less than two minutes. Plastic finish is cracking from UV exposure and switches for the windows are sticking or have to be pressed multiple times. Although the gas milage is good I find my 2002 WRX to be more comfortable with my back problems. I would not recommend this car to anyone as there are better cheap daily drivers on the market for similar money."
