What if you could have all the luxury trappings of a $50,000
sedan in a stylish four-door costing about half as much? That's the promise Kia's Amanti offers, albeit without the high resale value and premium-sedan status of the higher-priced choices. For those unconcerned by such trivialities, the
2009 Kia Amanti delivers a smooth ride, decent handling, a huge rear seat and a competent V6 engine. Among the Amanti's long list of standard features are heated side mirrors, one-touch up/down power windows, an eight-way adjustable power driver's seat and a power sunroof. Compared to a Buick Lucerne, Lincoln MXZ and
Chrysler 300, the Amanti appears a tempting alternative, and with its standard 10-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty, concerns about long-term reliability are put aside.
"I recently purchased a 2006 Kia Amanti with 52 000 miles. My car was well taken car of and it drives and feel like a new car. Everyone who has seen it is very impressed with the car and as the owner I am delighted. I have been a Kia owner since 2001 when I bought a Kia Optima new. I traded it in on the Amanti. People have commented that it looks like anything from a Bently,Jag,Lincon anything but a Kia. It has everything anyone would want in a car and drives like a dream. When men open the hood (well one of them really gasped) they are blown away. I hope this love affair I am having with this car will last a long time as this is the last car I intend to buy. Loving it------------------------Lou"
"Saw it. Loved it. Bought it. Two years old and a deal. 23 mpg - 110,000 miles. Only draw back is that Kia parts are slow to come in and costly compared to the US cars. I would buy another, if I could!!! The Equus is the new luxury through Hundai for $59,000 base - are they kidding???"
Pros: "Great price, for the luxury . drives like a dream"
Cons: "Can't think of any."

"The Kia Amanti is the best looking and best driving car I have ever had. The leather interior is soft and very comfy and the space is great. Fits 5 very comfortably. The trunk is very big as well. This car drives like any luxury vehicle you can imagine, but without the expense!
We did have to have the 6 disc chnager/radio replaced about 2 years ago. But other than that, it has just been regular maintenance. If you like a roomy sedan with all the bells and whistles, for an unbeatable price, then the Amanti is for you. Although Kia discontinued this model, if you can find a pre owned, it will be a great car for years to come!"
