Overview
2008 Acura TSX Front angle medium view photo KBB Editors' Overview
Acura's 2008 TSX competes in the bustling compact premium sedan market. Although not as large or powerful as the Audi A4 or the new BMW 3 Series, price, quality and exceptional resale value make the TSX a worthy competitor. The TSX delivers an exceptional balance between ride comfort and road handling, and returns fuel economy figures rivaling some economy cars. If you can live without a V6 engine and the option of all-wheel drive, the well-equipped TSX has much to offer, especially when considering its sub-$30,000 price tag.
You'll Like This Car If... You May Not Like This Car If...
If you grew up with Honda Civics and Preludes, but your new position in the world demands driving an upscale sedan, you'll love this car. The 2008 Acura TSX has the capability to serve as a business vehicle on the weekdays and a driving enthusiast's dream on the weekends. Its tight, six-speed manual transmission and powerful VTEC engine make it a blast to drive. You may not like the 2008 Acura TSX if you are used to a torque-heavy V6 engine that offers up a hefty dose of power below 3000 rpm. Another quibble: Rear-seat legroom might be tight for some adults.
What's New for 2008
The TSX has only one change for 2008---Bluetooth hands-free phone integration as a standard feature.
