"This vehicle is perfect. It takes me everywhere I want to go, and then some. The seats could be a little more comfortable, but they are not bad. There is nothing like owning a Jeep and being a part of the "Jeep Thing" family, where you will make friends everywhere you go."
"I have a 2005 Jeep Wrangler X 4.0L 6cyl that I purchased used (17500 miles) in 3/07. It's been awesome! I had a Jeep Cherokee Sport prior, so I know the rep these beasts have. I couldn't wait to get a Wrangler. Not disappointed at all! yea, so the gas mileage isn't great, but that's not why I bought it! Also, it's built for off-road, so don't expect the smooth ride of a Lexus. Ok, gotta go - the Jeep is waiting for me!"
"I love my Jeep. I have the 2006 4cyl. Yes, 4cyl. I have plenty of power but if I had to do over would have gone with the 6cyl. Too many people buy this vehicle and are not Jeep people. This is not an SUV, comfort is what it is. It's a Jeep folks! I understand the 2007's are SUV's. If you want to carry more than yourself and another person....DON"T BUY A Wrangler. I love mine, and if you buy one you will love it or hate it."
"One the funnest vehicles you can own. If your entend to purchase a Jeep to drive as a road vehicle, then you need to get a car. This is a vehilce that is designed to tackle off road terrain and on road hazards. While it drives fine in the urban setting, to drive only in the concrete jungle would be a dis-service to the name."
"I have a new Jeep Wrangler X 4.0L 6cyl and absolutely love it. I come from a long line of Jeep owners and had very high expectations for the newer models. I bought mine new completly stock and didn't need to do any cutomizations to take it out and have some fun in the mud. GREAT VEHICLE !!"
"After a history of owning German and Japanese cars I decided it was time to re-visit a childhood (and later) dream of owning a Jeep. I had been pricing convertibles and once I test drove them all up to the $40K range, I decided the Jeep was for me, not only for the "top-down" feature but also for the off-road and "fun quotient"!
A soft-top, it's horribly noisy on the highway and now that I don't have car payments anymore I don't mind too much its 15mph in-town. Part of that mileage may be because I drive it like a sports car -- that's just the way I am! And with no passengers and little weight of its own, this thing has some good pickup.
Do just one Jeep Jamboree or go off-road and you, too, will be hooked if you have an adventurious spirit. And because it's easy to hose down, it's a perfect dog car (of course, if you have a lift kit like I do, you may need to give them a boost or provide them a ramp!).
Additionally, if you ever have a fender bender and need new body parts, it's VERY inexpensive to replace or customize.
I could go on forever but it must all boil down to this: "It's a Jeep Thing...You Might Not Understand!"
