"I bought this Jeep from a friend who owns a body shop and did some minor repair work to a front fender. I bought the Jeep from a leasing company in about 2008. The leassor left the Jeep and did not return to pick up . Leasing company did not want to pay excessive storage fee and signed over to body shop. I have been driving Jeep to save gas from my Avalanche and Tahoe. Great little car with 6 speed, excellent maneuverability and has never been off road. Can legally park this Jeep where no one else can. I have two soft tops, hard top, five original equipment tires and rims and five 30" tires and rims from a 2007 Jeep that I bought . I also have a carrying cover that holds hard top when it is not in use.I am 68 years old and want to buy a 2014 or newer Nissan Altima to save gas mileage and travel extensively . Again this is a great vehicle for a younger person that would do offroading or any type running around they need to do."

"THIS VEHICAL IS BUILT FOR OFF ROAD AND THERE IS NOTHING THAT CAN STOP IT BUT YOUR FEAR, THIS VEHICAL IS DRIVEN DAILY ON THE ROAD AT SHORT DISTANCE FROM 50- 100 MILES, WOULDNT RECOMEND LONG DISTANCE TRIP LIKE A 1000 MILES DO TO COMFORT OR GAS MILAGE"

"this jeep equipped with the inline 6 cylinder is more than enuff for rock climbing, off road and everyday freeway driving. it gets excellent gas mileage with all weather tires(wranglers) and gets even better mileage with street tires. everything works like its supposed to and the attention to detail n workmanship is pretty darn good. Overall I would give it a 10 out of ten rating but not everything is perfect in this world."

Forever my first choice

Pros: "such a fun ride. I feel safe when I drive"

Cons: "not such a fan of freeways"

"I have loved my jeep since the moment I first put it in drive. Honestly if you're looking for a drive where you feel like you're working together with the car instead of relying on the car completely ( I know it sounds odd but really this is just my opinion and and my weird way of interpreting how i feel when i drive) Basically I love the rugged feel, where you actually feel like you're driving. 10 out of 10"

Pros: "PERFECT summer car with the top off."

Cons: "No amenities...but who cares."

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"I have had this car for about five years. I love it. It is a 2002 and it still gets compliments on how great it looks. It can plow over ANY snow banks and helps me to drive fearlessly in the very worst of weather. It has NO air conditioning and absolutely NO amenities..but it is everything I could ask of a car."

When my Jeep was brand new

"My Jeep is wonderful. The only reason I am getting rid of it is because it is getting hard for me to shift gears. I plan on getting an automatic. There is NOTHING like a Jeep! So fun to drive and awesome in bad weather. Great in the mud. It is a blast to drive. Fun to take camping!!! It is really a Jeep thing!!!!"
